What healthy warming drinks can you make at home?

If you’re not sure you’ll find the right drink for you at the nearest cafe, buy a handy thermos or thermal mug and take it with you from home. Here are three recipes for fall drinks that will warm you up even in the most chilly weather.

  • lemon zest – 2 tablespoons;
  • apple – 1 pc;
  • cloves – 1/2 tsp;
  • cinnamon stick;
  • a pinch of ground cardamom.

Pour juice into a saucepan, add water and the rest of the ingredients. Stir everything together. Heat the drink over low heat without bringing it to a boil. Let the mulled wine insist five minutes under the lid and pour into glasses.

Spiced chai latte

This is a delightfully sweet drink with subtle notes of cinnamon and cardamom. A little ginger and nutmeg give the drink the ultimate warming effect.

  • pinch of nutmeg.

Brew the black tea and let it steep for a while. Pour the tea into a saucepan, then add the milk and spices to it. Bring the mixture to a boil and immediately remove from the heat. Pour the tea into a French press or filter the spices with a strainer.
