From 100 to 50: How a Korean woman managed to lose weight by half

Now a girl from South Korea, Justina has a YouTube channel and a blog on Instagram. She posts photos of her slim, trim body, talks about her lifestyle and shares useful tips. It’s hard to believe that a few years ago she weighed 100 kg.

Problems from childhood

As a child, Justina practiced swimming and roller skating. Every time after training she ate hot dogs, ramen and other fast food in cafes. The girl says that she loved such food very much.

As she got older, she began to spend more time studying and stopped training. But food habits have not changed: Justina continued to eat unhealthy food, began to gain weight quickly and soon reached the mark of 100 kg. Then the girl realized that it was time to change something.

A new approach to nutrition

At first Justina did not know anything about diets. She started eating three times a day, replaced white rice with brown rice and did not forget about protein and fiber. And, of course, she refused snacks and night snacks. So the girl lost the first 24 kg.

Then she made the menu more rigid. For breakfast were granola with soy milk and frozen blueberries, for lunch – a small portion of regular dishes, for dinner – a salad.

For 2 years Justina lost 50 kg, but she began to have an eating disorder – bulimia. After the treatment of RPP, the girl revised her diet and made it like this:

breakfast: protein shake;
Lunch: whatever you want, but only half a portion – this rule Justina adheres to to this day;
dinner: protein granola.

She has also brought snacks back into her diet, but in limited quantities.

Justina believes that the main rule of weight loss is as follows: you need to eat what you want, but in small portions. The girl notes that she does not encourage others to do as she did. It is necessary to choose a diet plan individually.

Not only diet

To lose weight, Justina not only adhered to a certain diet, but also began to lead a more active lifestyle. She did strength training and aerobics for at least an hour three times a week. On other days, she went for hour-long walks.

According to Justina, it is muscle training that is important for weight loss, and it is not necessary to do cardio. The girl recalls that it was not easy to train, and she not once had to force herself to get out to the gym.

The blogger doubts that there is one “most effective” exercise to lose weight. She believes that for training it is important to find a complex that will bring pleasure. The main thing is to do them regularly. Justina herself prefers aerial yoga and pole dance.

Self-acceptance

In addition to losing weight, the girl has come a long way from an unstable state and bulimia to self-love. Her goal now is to be a happy person and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

Justina says that she lost weight to be healthy. The girl not only changed her habits and lifestyle, but also made herself realize that she is loved and worthy of love. “Even if I gain 100 kg again, I will love myself the way I am,” she says.
