Artemy Lebedev’s author’s diet: “you should eat less”

In one of our materials we have already told about the Lebedev-Ducan diet, thanks to which, five years ago, the famous Russian designer Artemy Lebedev lost about 20 kg. Everything moves, everything changes, and, as Lebedev himself admitted in his blog, this diet is not so wonderful and effective, so he decided to invent and present his author’s way to get in shape without unnecessary stress.

Artemy Lebedev, an excerpt from the presentation of the diet: “Once my friend gave me a book “Dukan’s Diet”, before that I basically did not distinguish fats from proteins and carbohydrates. This is the only benefit of this book. The diet itself is very bad, you can’t recommend it to anyone. And I sat on it? And I had a sport back then, I tuned the FM wave to the number I was losing weight to. That’s how I lost weight to “Ekho Moskvy”. Then somehow I relaxed, started to eat dried bread, potatoes, all kinds of buns again and gained 103 kg”.

Artemy Lebedev prepared thoroughly for his presentation. The basis of the new method was the real fact that he once again managed to lose extra pounds and lose weight.

“All diets that are out there, make you suffer. They all have some element of sectarianism in them. The same Dukan drowns for some kind of raw grains. Everywhere someone is trying to cheat somehow and additionally make money on it.”

The main idea

The point of Lebedev’s diet is to take a simpler attitude to food. It is not necessary to finish everything on the plate, you can limit yourself to a few forks, feel the flavor of each piece, get into it.

“I invented the diet and, like any diet author, I gave it my name. I decided that I would make a diet that would be necessary for everyone, useful, universal, it consists of exactly two words: ‘eat less’. Here is a simple secret.

As Lebedev himself admits, by following this principle he managed to lose 20 kg in 6 months without any emotional distress. “In general, I have no sense of hunger, no sense of suffering, I do not run at night to the refrigerator to eat a cutlet. It just goes away on its own.”

The point of the diet is that you can eat absolutely any product, there are no restrictions at all. It’s all about quantity and portion size.

“I used to eat from a plate or three plates, and now I eat from a saucer. And it turns out that this is quite enough for the body.”

Artemy Lebedev is sure that it is not at all necessary to order the three dishes and compote that we are accustomed to from the Soviet past. To satiate the body needs not so much, and our “finishing” is nothing more than a deal with conscience, which leads to extra pounds.

“Before, I would have eaten that sandwich whole, now I chewed off a small piece and I have absolutely no sense of hunger. The diet is good because you can get three or four people together and order one portion. For the greedy, this diet is perfect.”

In his presentation, the designer compared food to the wind and his stomach to a sail, which is inflated by food: “I used to sail, but now I’m in the calm. He intends to continue to follow his principles in the future. Next year, Artemy Lebedev intends to publish a book with a detailed account of his author’s approach to nutrition.
