“How powerful it all is!” Singer Zivert – about Lokomotiv’s matches, energy and love for yoga

In September, Zivert made the starting kick in the match between Lokomotiv and Krasnodar, and recently she performed her main hits and supported the railroaders in the match against Khimki. During the break Yulia told us about bright emotions, soccer, yoga and motivation.

I’m in good shape now, but I can’t say I’m in the best shape, because there is no limit to perfection. If I consider myself the best, then where should I strive?

About soccer

The first time I was at the stadium I was with my producer Bogdan. He has been a Lokomotiv supporter for almost 20 years. It was him who showed me the whole atmosphere. It was 2018, that golden match against Zenit, when Lokomotiv became champions. It was such a strong match, so much energy from all sides. I was “goosebumps”, I thought: “Man, how powerful it all is!”.

Before that, at a young age, I often hung out with fans who went to shootings, I went with a camera and filmed those shootings, but there was no soccer atmosphere there. The guys, by the way, were playing for Lokomotiv. When Bogdan and I met, it turned out that he had been rooting for Lokomotiv for a very long time. An interesting coincidence.

Now, of course, soccer is completely different. There are fewer fans, less bright emotions in the stands. But I am here so that people come to the stadium, support their favorite team.

I want to contribute to the development of our sport. To bring closer the time when as many people as possible will go to the stadiums.

I believe in energy, it is important for me to put my part on the pitch and give the guys a charge.

“RZD Arena is an absolute love for me. I’m broad in terms of music, style, but I especially love retro and vintage. There’s a bit of retro in this stadium and it’s insanely cozy, there’s just the right energy. I’ll be here a lot more often now.

About the athletic lifestyle

I’ve always been athletic since I was a kid. My parents took me to all kinds of clubs, except for music for some reason. Apparently, I had to come to it myself, at a conscious age. I practiced dancing, played basketball for the women’s team at school, tennis, figure skating, ballet.

After that, yoga and surfing came along and settled firmly in my life. Yoga was a big part of my life at one point. It was when I was living in Bali. That’s where it all came to me, and then it disappeared from my life for a while, simply because my music career started. All my energy went into creativity: rehearsals, dancing, shows.

More recently I realized that even if I don’t have time, I still find it, I just need it. I started to get up earlier and devote 40 minutes at home to yoga. For me, yoga is more about the mental, because physical activity is always present in my profession. I’m a dancing artist – we have constant rehearsals, shows, I dance on stage, I do my workouts at home. I’m very lucky: my choreographers and coaches are my girlfriends, I have all the conditions.

Yoga is about spiritual and mental health, because it helps a lot to clear your thoughts and get rid of negative energy.

At the age of 17, my mom brought me to India and we did three weeks of meditation there. I didn’t really understand how deep it was, it was a thrill for me. I was just wondering if I could do it or not. Now meditation is in my life, but in a slightly different form, I have my own kinds of meditations. But that will be my little secret.

Sport is a must for me, because it is absolutely certain that a healthy body has a healthy spirit. I know, when I neglect my body a little bit due to lack of time or fatigue, I immediately start having problems in my head: psychosis, my thoughts are a mess, anxiety. My only salvation at that point is to get back into the body. Also for me the best relaxation is nature, forest, bath. It takes away the bad energy.

3 secrets of beauty and energy

My main secret is good vibe, good mood, just love for the world around you. If you radiate love, you’re in a great mood, then everything around you adds up.

The second one is yoga or just morning self-care rituals in general. It can even be a short exercise, but I definitely need to immerse myself in my body in the morning. With morning practices, the day turns out differently altogether.

The third one is water. I used to not understand when people talked about water at all. We all liked juices. Now, for me, water has become really delicious. The more you drink, the more you realize when your body needs water. You’re like a plant – it needs to be watered to grow. Definitely warm water in the morning is a guarantor of beauty.

About nutrition

My dietary restrictions right now are health-related. But in general I can afford everything. I’m an advocate of the fact that if at some point you really want something, you should let yourself have it. I strongly believe that absolutely everything in the body is reflected psychosomatically. As soon as you start obsessing, it feels like there’s something wrong with you, like you look worse.

When I just stop obsessing and allow myself some weaknesses within reason, I even feel better. If I want an eclair in the middle of the night, I order delivery and eat it. It will not add a gram to me, because it was a high, a pleasure.

If I need to lose weight quickly, for example for some costume, my best working secret is to give up dinner. I eat whatever I want during the day, but I don’t eat dinner. That way I lose all the excess weight in three or four days.

Мотивация

You can’t always be on the upswing, just stop beating yourself up for everything. If you feel that you are at a disadvantage, let yourself be in this disadvantage. You need to fall into it, do nothing, do nothing, so that then you have a strong desire to get out of it to the maximum plus.

Lately I have started to allow myself any states and stopped cursing them. As soon as I plunge into a minus state and recognize it, I immediately start to fly out of it into a plus.

The most important motivation for me that I could advise people around me is to visualize in my head the best version of myself.

Everyone feels the potential in themselves and visualizes themselves at their best. It motivates me, I realize that I want to become the best version of myself, so I have to do a lot for that.
