The shortest winter month is approaching, followed by spring. It’s a good time to think about what useful things we can do for our bodies and how to show ourselves love and care to get the first obvious results in just two weeks.

Nutritionist and nutritionist Anna Berseneva tells us about simple habits that will quickly have a positive effect if you do them every day. Soon you will feel how your condition improves and the extra kilograms go away.

Morning: a little exercise and warm water with lemon

The morning is an extremely important time, it lays the direction for the whole day that follows. I suggest including two rituals for health and beauty.

Do a short warm-up after bedtime

After waking up, do 100 low jumps or put your feet shoulder width apart and tap your heels on the floor. Why? This helps to disperse lymph throughout the body and with it, energy.

Drink warm water with lemon.

Drink one to three glasses depending on how your body responds to it. Do this 30 to 40 minutes before each meal. The temperature of the water should be between 40 and 60 degrees. Such a ritual will help to start the process of cleansing the body of everything that did not have time to leave it for yesterday.

Eat fruit before 16.00

Fruit and sweets, even the healthiest, should be eaten before 16.00. So treading into the body carbohydrates will have time to be spent on intellectual and physical activity, and not on the formation of fat layer.

Evening: decoction of chamomile mint and a light dinner

Give up caffeine and replace it with a healthy alternative

At least two hours before bedtime, stop drinking caffeine with tea, coffee or cocoa. But you can safely drink a decoction of chamomile or peppermint.

Have a dinner of vegetables and protein

For dinner give preference to vegetables, preferably in a light heat treatment: steamed or blanched. A huge plus for your dinner is easily digestible protein. Great options for traditional types of meals:

  • Seafood;
  • white fish;
  • egg whites.

Alternatives for plant-based diets:

  • Tofu;
  • pine or almond protein (oilcake);
  • lentils.

Ventilate the room before bedtime

Be sure to air out the room in which we will sleep. An elementary rule that is so often forgotten… And then there are the headache pills and the triple dose of caffeine in the morning.
