A selection for those who do not know what to do on the holidays.

After the New Year will come the long-awaited long weekend. What to do when there is so much free time? We are sure that you should devote it to active rest and walks. It’s much more interesting than lying on the couch in front of the TV all day! To help you plan a fun and memorable vacation, we have gathered the most interesting events that will be held at this time in Moscow.

Ice show from world stars

From December 30 to January 7, the Megasport Sports Palace will host Tatiana Navka’s ice show “Sleeping Beauty. Legend of the Two Kingdoms”. The organizers promise to present to the audience the story, which is known to everyone, in a completely new interpretation. Olympic champion, world and European champion Alina Zagitova, five-time U.S. champion and two-time winner of the Four Continents Championship in ice dancing Peter Chernyshev, multiple European and world champions Margarita Drobyazko and Povilas Vanagas will take part in the show together with Navka.

There will also be an ice show based on Pushkin’s poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila” – the cast is no less impressive. A pleasant bonus: children under 3 years old will get a free ticket.

To the skating rink with your family and friends

Skating is not only useful, but also a lot of fun. It is good that there are many skating rinks in the capital!

Skating rink at VDNKh
The area of the artificial surface exceeds 20 thousand square meters, and 4.5 thousand people can be present at the rink at the same time. Safety measures are strictly observed: visitors are obliged to keep a social distance and wear masks, and everyone is measured for temperature before entering. But this is no reason to deny yourself the pleasure of visiting one of the best skating rinks in Moscow.
