Successful and free: the main bachelors of Russian sport

These young athletes are under 30, and their professional careers are already as good as they can be. Multi-million dollar contracts, shelves full of awards and people’s love – what more could you want? However, daily training, training camps and competitions take a lot of energy and strength, leaving very little time for personal life. We tell you about the Russian sports stars who have not yet found a soul mate.

Kirill Kaprizov

Age: 22.
Sport: hockey.

Kaprizov is a star of Russian hockey. In 2016, Kirill, when he had just turned 18, was bought by Salavat Yulaev club for 80 million rubles – for Metallurg this is the most expensive transfer in history. The hockey player was among the best players in Europe, and two years later was included in the Russian national team. The 2018 Olympics, held in PyeongChang, became a landmark for Kaprizov’s sporting career. For the first time since 1992, the Russian national team became champions, thanks in large part to the young talent. Now Kirill plays for CSKA Moscow.

About Kirill’s personal life is reliably unknown. The hockey player carefully avoids such questions. There were rumors about his relationship with Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova, but both athletes deny them.

Alexander Golovin

Age: 23.
Sport: soccer.

According to the results of Euro 2016, Alexander was included in the list of the twelve most promising footballers, and Western journalists even dubbed him “the new Ronaldo”. At the time of Golovin’s arrival in the national team, the 21-year-old athlete was the youngest player in the history of the team. After the World Cup in 2018, the midfielder was bought out by the French club Monaco.

Alexander for a long time met with a girl named Angelina, but now on his page “Vkontakte” is the status “in active search”.

Andrei Rublyov

Age: 22 years.
Sport: tennis.

ATP finalist among tennis players not older than 21, winner of three ATP tournaments, winner of the 2014 Youth Olympics, winner of the ATP 250 tournament – and this is only a small part of the young tennis player’s awards. Andrey was born in a sports family. His father is a former boxer, he currently owns a chain of restaurants. Rublev’s mom was a tennis coach and at one time worked with Anna Kournikova. Sister is also a coach.

Nothing is reliably known about the athlete’s personal life: in the “Instagram” of the 16th racket of the world flashes pictures from the courts, shots with colleagues and photos of an unknown girl, published a couple of years ago.

Robert Schwartzman

Age: 20 years old.
Sport: motorsports.

The youngest member of our selection became the first Russian included in the Ferrari support program. In 2008, Shvartsman achieved great success in karting, winning the international Grand Final of the Easykart series. In 2010, the young Robert, always wearing a golden helmet, made history in Italian karting as the first foreigner to win the local championship in the 60 Mini class.

The athlete became Formula 3 champion in 2019 and joined Prema Racing in Formula 2 this year. Schwartzman is also a pilot of the SMP Racing program. The media have already dubbed Robert the hope of Russian motorsport and, of course, an enviable bachelor.
