Salad with strawberries, chicken and avocado

- lettuce leaves and greens.

- Cut the chicken, avocado and strawberries into cubes.
- Place the lettuce leaves in the bottom of the dish.
- Add all ingredients to a deep bowl, mix and serve.
Homemade dressing option:
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar;
- 1 tbsp. whole grain mustard;
- 2 tsp. honey;
- 1/4 cup olive oil;
- 1/4 tsp. salt.
Mix all the ingredients together. You can put it in a glass jar, close tightly and shake vigorously. It turns out to be a very complex salad in terms of macronutrient balance.
Some manufacturers inject chickens with phosphates as moisture-retaining substances, due to which they increase the volume and weight of the product. Therefore, before cooking, it is recommended to soak the chicken in a solution: lemon juice (half a lemon) + 2 tbsp. of kitchen salt + 1 liter of purified water. Keep the chicken in this solution for 120 minutes.
Useful shawarma with chicken

- 250 g of chicken fillet;
- 2 pitas or 2 pita bread;
- 1 small onion;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 1 cucumber;
- 1 green pepper (optional);
- 6 tbsp. Greek yogurt;
- olive oil, lemon juice to taste;
- 1 tsp. Turkish spice blend (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, cumin, pepper);
- salt and pepper to taste;
- herbs (dill, parsley) for decoration.

- Cut the cooked chicken fillet into thin strips or slices. Salt and pepper to taste.
- In a skillet, fry the chicken fillets until golden. Add the Turkish spice blend and lemon juice. Fry everything together for a few more minutes so that the spices soak the meat well.
- Slice the onion, tomatoes, cucumber and green pepper into thin strips.
- Heat the pita in the oven or in a frying pan.
- Make the sauce: Greek yogurt + a little black pepper + Turkish spice blend if desired.
- Arrange the roasted chicken, chopped vegetables and herbs on the pita or pita bread.
- Roll the pita (shawarma in pita in the usual way) into a roll.
Pie with chicken

- 500 g of puff pastry;
- 300 g of boiled chicken (you can use leftovers from cooking broth);
- 1 onion;
- 2 carrots;
- 2 stalks of celery;
- 200 g mushrooms;
- 100 g cheese;
- 2 eggs;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.

1. Cut the onion, carrots, celery and mushrooms (if using) into small cubes. In a skillet, fry the onion until golden, carrots, celery and mushrooms.
2. Add the cooked diced chicken to the vegetables in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roast everything together for a few more minutes so that the ingredients are well blended.
3. Divide the puff pastry into two equal parts. Roll out one half and place it in a pie mold. Place the prepared chicken and vegetable filling on the dough. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the filling.
4. Roll out the other half of the dough and cover the filling. Pinch the edges of the pastry to make the pie airtight. Whisk the eggs in a bowl and brush the top of the pie with them.
5. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until the pastry is golden.
