Which PP foods are not suitable for everyone?

Today we are redefining our relationship with food and striving to be healthy and energetic. On the way to a strong and slim body we have to change our eating habits and food basket. But are all alternative foods really healthy and suitable for everyone without exception?

Proper nutrition is a special system based on a complete diet and meal pattern. The most suitable for most people remains a three-meal approach: breakfast, lunch and dinner without snacks during the day.

The ideal diet includes fats, proteins and carbohydrates. Refined foods, sweets, snacks and end-glycation foods have no place in the system. To replace candy and fried chicken, some people introduce PP alternatives into their diet. However, everyone’s body is different, and not everyone is suited to the classic set of healthy foods.

Tofu

Soy product is especially popular in vegetarian and Asian cuisine. It really has a lot of benefits: 100 g of tofu contains 8 g of protein and only 70 kcal. It is rich in iron, Omega-3 acids, calcium and the amino acid lysine, which protects against viruses, has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces the risk of heart and vascular pathologies.

Studies have proven that excessive consumption of tofu (more than 300 g per day or 800 ml of soy milk) is harmful to men’s health. Plant estrogens from soy worsen the male hormonal background and contribute to erectile dysfunction, reduce libido. Unobvious harm of the product is also in phytic acid, which is released by soy. In the process of absorption by the body, it binds nutrients, vitamins and minerals, preventing them from being digested.

Plant Milk

Rice milk and oat milk from the store are nothing but flour mixed with water. These are true refined carbohydrates that are about as healthy as a loaf of white bread. In addition, unscrupulous manufacturers often add sugar to oat milk and rice milk to give the drink a pleasant flavor.

Soy milk contains phytoestrogens, which help to reduce so-called “bad” cholesterol, but people with impaired estrogen metabolism have an increased risk of certain diseases. In addition, soy ranks third in the top of allergens, so it is not suitable for the diet of allergy sufferers.

Avocado

Superfood is valued for a large number of nutrients and useful substances, it is considered a dietary product because of the high content of omega acids. They reduce cholesterol levels and the risk of cardiovascular disease. Despite its beneficial properties, avocados should be consumed in moderation. The pulp of the fruit contains a lot of fat, so nutritionists do not recommend abusing avocados to those who have liver disease and digestive problems.

But olive oil is contraindicated for those diagnosed with chronic inflammation of the gallbladder, since the product has a choleretic effect. This can lead to an exacerbation of the disease and a painful attack.

Cheese curd

Perhaps the main fermented milk product in the diet of proper nutrition. Natural cottage cheese is rich in proteins, vitamins A, E, P, B2, B6 and B12, folic acid. It contains calcium, iron, sodium, magnesium, copper, zinc, fluorine, phosphorus and the essential amino acid methionine. The latter normalizes fat metabolism and reduces cholesterol levels in the body, preventing liver obesity.
