New sports brand collections. Beyoncé suits and Grant Hill sneakers

At the end of 2021, many brands have decided to delight customers with new sports collections. The main focus is still on environmental care and adherence to eco-friendly production technologies, creation of a sports community and motivation to exercise. We take a closer look at the collections of brands from luxury to mass-market.

Prada and Aspenx

Prada presented a new eco-friendly capsule of its Linea Rossa sports collection. It includes items created in collaboration with Aspenx: snowboarding suits, tops made of elastic material with zippers, shorts made of faux sheepskin, down jackets and high-soled sneakers.

The outerwear is made of three-layer fabric – it is waterproof and provides good thermal insulation. All models are decorated with Prada Linea Rossa’s signature red line.

Representatives of the brand state that all things are made of innovative materials based on recycled fibers. All of this is eco-friendly production.

In tandem with Faction, a brand specializing in freeskiing products, the company has created skis, goggles, masks, gloves and helmets.

Oysho

In recent years, the Oysho brand has been actively developing its sports direction. For several years it has been producing functional women’s models for sports of any degree of intensity. Things are made of modeling, breathable and quick-drying fabric, which is ideal for training.

Recently, as part of the new concept, Oysho launched the first men’s sports collection. The same fabric used to create women’s uniforms is used to produce fitness pants and shorts in various lengths.

In addition to shorts and pants, the collection includes cycling shorts, two models of leggings with silicone coating and zipper, and joggers with reflective stripes to ensure visibility during evening jogs.

The range also includes two versions of seamless T-shirts and a waterproof windbreaker, which will come in handy in the off-season for street workouts. It should be noted that not all things are exclusively sporty. The creators worked on the everyday Free Time line, it includes pants and sweatshirts.

Adidas and IVYPARK

Adidas together with singer and owner of IVYPARK brand Beyoncé released the fifth collaboration, which was called Halls of Ivy. The capsule is designed to unite all people regardless of background, class, race or creed. The ad campaign stars Beyoncé herself.

She poses on a tennis court in a bodysuit in a bright green shade, a color that will dominate the entire collection.

The brands chose Welcome to the Halls of Ivy as the advertising slogan. It is a kind of metaphorical space between today’s state and the future you are striving for. The capsule includes a plaid down jacket, knitted tracksuits, a faux leather skirt, a cape with a houndstooth pattern, a bodysuit and many other interesting models. The capsule is already available for purchase.

FILA

In honor of the 25th anniversary of one of basketball’s most iconic silhouettes, the Grant Hill 2, FILA has released a limited edition sneaker collection. This drop commemorates the brand’s long-standing relationship with professional basketball player Grant Hill, who began his career with FILA in 2018 and is now a lifelong brand ambassador.

The new Grant Hill 2 25th Anniversary is available in two colors – black and white with navy blue elements. The new model also gets a few personal details – Hill’s signature and embroidered logos on the tongue, quarter and heel.
