5 phone apps that will make you a better person

Our fall started with two bright events – Live Workout Party at adidas BASEMOSCOW in Gorky Park and presentation of the updated Runtastic app at adidas runbase in Luzhniki. The presentation and training for all those who had time to sign up in advance was conducted by Lunden Souza – a fitness guru, a member of the expert group for the creation of the Runtastic app and just a charming Californian girl.

After training on her author’s program under a rousing DJ-set we had a chance to chat and found out that Runtastic is not only a convenient running tracker, which is now available in Russian, but also a whole set of applications: for self-training, sleep monitoring, as well as a guide to healthy eating and much more. What is the app for? The free Runtastic tracker app accurately measures time, speed, distance, elevation gain, calories burned and many other training parameters so that every run, every race brings maximum benefit and pleasure.

She graduated from the Austrian University of St. Pölten in 2011 and worked at a hospital in Vienna, developing diets for patients after major surgeries. Julia now shares her knowledge and favorite recipes on the Runtastic blog and the Runtasty app.
