Actually, I was really lucky with genetics. But for me discipline is a habit developed over the years. It manifests itself in my attitude to work, in life situations, it should also manifest itself in self-care.

About daily rituals

Not going to bed with makeup on is very important, no matter how lazy it is to wash your face. There is nothing supernatural in this process, I always do the usual steps: cleansing, washing, moisturizer and that’s it. The main thing is to do it systematically and know your individual needs.

Of course, after my athletic career ended, I had a serious hormonal restructuring. I was very worried because I was overweight, I had acne, I had everything in general. During this period I realized that the most important thing is a healthy diet, sufficiently complete and varied. You just need to love yourself, to cherish and nurture. There is nothing supernatural in my daily routine.

About the daily routine

Lately I don’t follow my daily routine well, because I put my child to bed at 11 pm, he doesn’t want to fall asleep earlier. When he goes to bed, I want to give time to myself, of course, I do not go to bed before 1 am. Apparently, until he goes to school, my daily routine will not normalize. Of course, I would like to restore it, but so far I only manage to watch my diet and physical activity.

My husband and I try to exercise every day and spend more time together. We take our son to the garden and run or go to the gym. Swimming together is more interesting when you are given different tasks: with fins, on your hands.

About sports

After the end of my career, I was constantly asked about it. I blamed myself, it seemed to me that I was something wrong, that I should do sports. Meanwhile, I did not physically load myself at all until my back got sick, and then I had to.

Exercise also appeared in my life recently, because I just needed it. Before I was young and too active for some kind of exercise, I didn’t understand why people did it and what it was for. Now there are light elements of stretching and running. Running is especially relevant in the warm season, but my husband and I are thinking of dragging this habit into winter as well. You can run in winter too, it’s great cardio and great exercise with the right surface and the right shoes.

About beauticians

I have been to the beautician three or four times in my life, I have very dry skin, and there was a need to pierce a few times this or that defect. After that, I didn’t have to visit cosmetic offices very often. One of the main rules is that I try to always use SPF. This is important to prevent age spots.

I’m really lucky with genetics, my mom is 54 and she is an incredible beauty. Not just because she’s my mom, but because she is, I’m really lucky with that.

I don’t have a lot of time to spend on grooming, which gives me more opportunity to do other things. I’ve never dyed my hair, so it’s undried, it’s my color. There are no special secrets here either.

I postpone the process of any manipulations with myself as much as possible, so that then I have the opportunity to do them less. I’m just lucky, I’m half Bengali, and that’s my genetics.
