For magnificent blooms, you can go to the Rostov region. Here in the reserve “Rostovsky” annually holds a festival “Singing Steppe”. The picturesque event attracts crowds of tourists eager to see huge fields of steppe tulips and irises. Flowers can be admired here from April to May.

One of the new destinations in Russia is a visit to Yamal. There is also Baikal Ice Marathon – one of the most impressive extreme races in the world on the crystal ice of the lake. The distances to choose from are 21.1 km and 42.2 km. The marathon starts on February 27.
