What are the most harmful New Year’s dishes? What is better not to eat on holidays?

In general, the problem of the New Year’s table is that it is customary to put “all the best at once”: caviar, pickles, salads, and hot food, not to forget about fruit and sweets. As a result, the body faces the need to digest it all at once, so there are exacerbations of gastritis and similar diseases. So what dishes should you refrain from?

The problem with the current sauce is its high fat content, caloric content and abundance of preservatives that contribute to long storage: trans fats, emulsifiers, thickeners, egg powder, flavor enhancers, stabilizers.

Irina: There is even such a term – “mayonnaise obesity”. Russia, unfortunately, is considered the record holder in the consumption of this sauce. Our citizens literally eat mayonnaise by the spoonful.

What can we replace mayonnaise with? Dress salads with mustard-based sauces, add sour cream or natural Greek yogurt. And you can make mayonnaise yourself: beat two yolks, adding a little sugar and salt, lemon juice and constantly stirring, pour a thin stream of a glass of olive oil.
And the healthiest way is to mix a can of Greek yogurt with dried garlic and a spoonful of mustard.
