Everyone has their own taste preferences. Someone likes toast with bacon and avocado, others will not refuse a portion of pancakes with jam. But what breakfast is healthier: salty or sweet? What is considered a sweet breakfast?

Sweet is usually called a breakfast containing various types of flour products fried in oil, for example, pancakes, cheesecakes, pancakes. Or porridge, which is consumed together with jam, chocolate and other toppings. Also, a sweet meal can consist of fruit salad and nuts.

What is considered a salty breakfast?

Under the salty breakfast is usually meant various dishes of eggs with the addition of bacon or lightly salted fish, avocado toast. Also to this type can be attributed oatmeal on water, but to it you need to add something else – porridge in its pure form will not be able to satiate a person for a long time.

What kind of breakfast to choose?

If you look at the ratio of calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates in salty and sweet breakfasts, then the first will be more balanced and useful. That is, it is more nutritious and will better affect the hormonal background.

Sweet breakfasts contain a large amount of carbohydrates, but do not give a sense of lasting satiety. All because of sugar: it causes a sharp spike in insulin in the body, which is quickly leveled, and hunger returns. But if the sweet breakfast will consist mostly of fruits, nuts and seeds, they will help to satiate much more than pancakes.
