Earlier this year, fitness app Centr took center stage. And for good reason, because it was launched by Chris Hemsworth, the same Thor from the Marvel universe. And at one look at his muscular body, all reasons not to trust the methods of training finally disappear. Let’s find out what’s interesting about the app and how much it costs.

And straight from the disappointments. Chris Hemsworth says the app is unlikely to make you a superhero. But there is an upside – he promises that the workouts will definitely get anyone in good shape. Chris’s wife, actress Elsa Pataky, took an active part in the creation of the programs. At the age of 42, she boasts a great figure and is not shy to take pictures in a swimsuit for magazine covers.

Centr contains 20 and 40 minute video workouts from Chris Hemsworth himself and world-class fitness instructors. It also has a built-in exercise and meal planner with a variety of recipes. There’s also a special meditation section with instructions for incorporating it into every workout. You can also find tips on stress management and confidence-building exercises.

Most importantly, the workouts are updated every week and new ones are added. Of course, as in all such apps, you can adjust the level of load, set goals and monitor your results.

Thor’s recommendations

Chris states that in order for the app to really “work” on your body, you need to do a few things:

  • Decide on a goal and therefore a workout program.
  • Focus on results. The actor is convinced: to be in shape, it is not necessary to stay in the gym all day long, so you can only overdo it and get injured. To the results should go gradually and evenly.
  • Try cross-training. With the app, you can train in your own living room with minimal or no equipment and your own weight. Treat food as fuel. Centr has thousands of good recipes to recharge your batteries
  • Motivate yourself. To maintain the most important thing – regularity, you need a massive goal. Also, alternate programs so you don’t get bored.

How much does it cost?

A subscription will cost you $15.99 monthly. That’s even better than a fitness club membership, which, it’s worth noting, Chris Hemsworth will definitely not be training at.
