The last day of March in our country became fateful for sports and activity lovers. It was then that strict quarantine measures were introduced, and even before that decision, the capital’s fitness centers were closed, mass events and competitions were canceled. A month and a half has passed since then, and finally the regime of domestic self-isolation has begun to weaken – the cities have gradually begun to revitalize.

Perhaps very soon, though not immediately, we will return to the usual pace of life. So now is a good time to start thinking about what we’ll need to do once the pandemic is over, because there will be plenty of opportunities. We share with you a check-list of interesting things to do, which will please the devoted fans of healthy lifestyle and about which you could only dream before.

1. Go for a jog in the park

Perhaps, runners during self-isolation really had a hard time. After all, you couldn’t leave your apartment unless you needed to, and not everyone could afford to buy a professional track at home. But now all barriers are starting to crumble in front of potential marathon runners: soon it will be possible to prepare for the upcoming starts and conquer distances in the city center, local park, in the yard or in the forest. Personally, we recommend going for a run in a beautiful place early in the morning or, on the contrary, closer to the evening. At this time of day, the weather is not so hot, the streets are not crowded, and the beauty of nature and fresh air only beautify the workout.

2. Have a PP breakfast on the summer veranda of a cafe

Very soon summer will come, and with it starts the season of open verandas in cafes. By then, the city’s establishments will once again be bustling with life and waiting for you for a hearty brunch or a healthy breakfast. Of course, after being cooped up in four walls, a takeaway cappuccino will be a joy, but it’s much better to savor the moment and allow yourself a nice meal at least once before the workday.

3- Visit your favorite fitness center

We do not argue, home workouts are really effective and convenient, and the necessary equipment can be easily built with your own hands. But, you must admit, you must have missed multifunctional exercise machines and neat dumbbells. In addition, fitness centers have a special atmosphere that motivates you to achieve new goals and does not let you abandon training in the middle. And nobody canceled the spa zone with a swimming pool and a bath complex! That’s why going to the gym will not only help you get in shape, but also help you relax.

They say that 10 thousand steps is the optimal daily norm, which allows a person to stay slim and feel good. And if you fulfill this plan by walking along beautiful city streets, you will get a mix of pleasant and useful. Just imagine: quiet embankments, decorated boulevards, small nooks and crannies – and all this can be seen with benefits for the body!

5. Join a sporting event

This spring, races and other large-scale events have been canceled due to safety concerns. But most sporting events will still be able to take place, just a little later. And it’s a great chance to try your hand at various competitions and test your strength. After all, even if you’ve never competed before, when but now is the best time to start? We’re sure the quarantine has awakened in you enough desire to take on new and unknown things.

6. Plan a trip

Perhaps the most eagerly awaited item on the entire list. Along with the fading of the pandemic, travel will begin to return to our lives: first around the country, and then around the world when the borders open up. 7. Go for a bike ride

Nowadays you need a pass and a good reason to ride a bicycle in Moscow, just like a scooter, but soon two-wheeled rides will become a pleasant leisure activity again. They maintain the level of physical activity, burn calories and simply energize a good mood. By the way, if you don’t have your own bicycle, you can rent one, and inexpensively. There are special points in different parts of the city: both on the central streets and in parks and some forest areas.

8. Organize a picnic in the company of loved ones

May holidays were left behind, and you had to celebrate them at home. But who forbids you to make up for the lost time after the coronavirus and go on a picnic in the company of loved ones? Especially if the weather permits. This idea will appeal even to those who carefully watch their figure. All because both kebab and other dishes in nature can be prepared according to dietary, but no less tasty recipes.

9. Go to a long-awaited match

It’s hard for a person far from sports to imagine how fans are hungry for tournaments. We hope that in the near future matches can be watched at least on TV, and at the end of all the painful history – directly from the stadium. We consider this item a definite masthead for fans, because where else can you feel all the tension of the game and the desire of the teams to snatch victory at any cost?

10. Dance at a music festival

Healthy activities are not limited to sports. Music festivals are a great way to enjoy your favorite songs, thrust and dance to your heart’s content. And although all concerts and similar events are only in dreams for now, we look forward to them to be energized by the atmosphere of creativity and fun.
