Repeat not recommended: exciting stunts from the world of parkour

It’s getting harder and harder to surprise people these days. But there are parkourists in the world who can definitely argue with this statement. For those who are not familiar with this term, we explain: parkourists are people who move and overcome obstacles using jumping elements. They are real professionals in their field. Many of them have repeatedly become winners of major competitions. Sometimes when watching another video you can’t help but grab your heart – it looks so fascinating and dangerous.

We strongly advise you not to repeat the tricks. It is better to follow them together with us on the Internet.

One of the most recognizable Russian parkourists is Oleg Sherstyachenko, better known under the pseudonym olegcricket.

Oleg is 29 years old and is originally from Yekaterinburg. He started practicing parkour at the age of 14. If you believe the words of the athlete, a great impression in childhood on him had a movie “Yamakashi: New Samurai”.

Oleg likes to surprise his subscribers, so he often uses the roofs of high-rise buildings for his tricks. It looks beautiful on the one hand, on the other hand – as scary as possible. Watching his videos, you can’t help but grab your heart.

Fear has never stopped me. I’ve never felt anything like it. I wonder what emotions normal people would feel in my shoes. Maybe I was already born with such a “peculiarity”, I don’t know.

In this video Oleg uses his favorite place – the roof. He jumps on the narrow parapet without any fear, and there he can safely lie down or, for example, hang on just his fingers.

By the way, back in 2017 Oleg Kriket shot a joint video with Russian model Victoria Odintsova. The girl trusted the master and hung on a huge high-rise in Dubai, holding solely on the hand of Cricket. After the publication of the video on the Internet, the world media only trumpeted about this incident.

Our next hero is Pavel Petkuns, known in social networks under the pseudonym pashatheboss. Pavel comes from the Latvian city of Daugavpils. According to Petkuns himself, he was inspired to do parkour by his compatriot Oleg Vorslav, whose video he saw in 2005.

He saw a very ordinary guy doing tricks and thought: “I want to be like him!”. I realized that we are from the same city, which means I also have the opportunity to develop, despite the fact that we do not have special places.

Over time, Petkuns developed his own style, and the 16-year-old went to his first competition in England in 2009. Then he took the last place, but he didn’t stop practicing. Today Petkuns is a multiple world champion.

In this video Pavel demonstrated a large number of tricks, let’s understand.

It seems like an ordinary ladder – but for Petkuns it is a kind of projectile. So, for example, he, like a snake, slips under the railing, using athletic ability.

And after Pasha climbed to the roof of a booth on the beach. But Petkuns comes down from there in a peculiar way – in a jump, performing several flips in the air.

It’s an ordinary wall, but even here Pavel finds a place for a trick – after the jump he leans on his back, and then, pushing off with his legs, he jumps again and lands back on the ground.

A flip in front of you in a jump? Easy. But that’s not all: a descent from the railing and a couple of gymnastic jumps – now it’s definitely the finale.

Next is a wall flip, in which Pasha is helped by a beam under the bridge.
A flip using two fingers is also not a problem for Petkuns. Pavel jumps from the tourniquet to the trampoline, and then jumps back on the tourniquet.

A somersault in front of himself from the curb? Too easy. A cheetah-style jump in front of you looks mesmerizing too.

In addition to street stunts, Petkuns often uses trampolines. For example, in this video, he climbed to the fourth level. After pushing off the projectile, he makes a jump, while flipping several times in the air. The stunt is a success.

Frenchman Remy Girard is 22 years old. He is interested not only in parkour, but also in freerunning and acrobatics. By the way, he has been practicing acrobatics since early childhood. According to the athlete, he turned his hobby into a profession. Remy performs in circuses, theaters and street shows.

In this video Girard combines parkour and acrobatics. After the usual parkour stunt Remy performs his favorite jumps in gymnastic style. It should be noted that the Frenchman jumps great.

And here is one of the best stunts Remy. The athlete performs the most difficult trick on his hands. Acrobatics lessons from childhood make themselves felt.

The next parkourist is Kirill Kolesnikov. He is only 22 years old and comes from St. Petersburg. He has been interested in parkour since 2012, and today he is a participant of championships all over the world.

Kirill’s strong point is jumping. He masterfully demonstrates parkour in Moscow realities, as in the following video. Be warned, there will be a lot of jumps, and from different locations: playground, park, beach. But you should pay attention to the trick with a kiss: during the next element in flight Kirill manages to kiss his girlfriend.

Next is an extreme parkour trick with a car. The guy is standing on the stairs, but as soon as the car comes as close as possible, our hero makes a jump – the car knocks down the very stairs where the parkourist was standing a couple of moments ago. In turn, the guy lands on the pre-prepared mats. Spectacular. Subscribers even asked: “Fake or not?”. Commentators believe that everything is honest here.

For the sake of a beautiful shot, parkourists sometimes jump from one building to another. This guy is no exception. Not only that, but he does a couple of flips in the jump, and then he almost jumps off the roof. Does it look good? Yeah. But is it worth the risk?
