Be like Statham. How does the most brutal actor train?

Jason Statham always looks perfect in the frame. Despite his age, he keeps himself in great shape not only for the sake of filming. But how does the movie star manage to maintain relief and physique?

Jason Statham has been associated with sports since childhood. He was professionally engaged in diving and even played for the British national team in this discipline. Possessing a good physique, he worked part-time as a model. It was there that he was noticed and invited to the movie. Statham also practiced martial arts.

Once in the film industry, the actor has secured the role of a brutal guy with a great body, so throughout his career he had to keep himself in shape.

First of all, the actor controls his diet. By his admission, the diet is always different, but at the same time Statham is not sober and a bottle of beer.

As for training, Statham trains a lot, he even equipped the hall in his own garage. That said, Jason is a big fan of variety in training.

“I never repeat the same workout twice,” the actor admits.

The movie star prefers to train with his own weight. He is very fond of pull-ups, push-ups on the bars and from the floor. His pull-up scene from the movie “Death Race” is one of the most popular in his movie biography when it comes to physical fitness.

When asked how many push-ups the actor does, he replies that he does not push up to the maximum, but adds a few kilograms of extra weight.

For variety and all-round body development Statham practices and quite unusual equipment: climbing rope, and recently mastered and loved training on gymnastic rings.

The actor combines several types of training: first he works out mobility, then trains blows and practicing martial arts, and then adds strength training.

Working with additional weights, the actor leans toward weightlifting elements. He recognizes that the classics are the best, so he performs athletic elements: taking the barbell on the chest, squats with a barbell overhead, training with weights.

But about cardio training Statham speaks disparagingly: “What cardio, my training is cardio, if you train for the whole”.

The actor actively participates in all kinds of Challenges, not so long ago he did push-ups for charity. And “Bottle Cap Challenge” shot up thanks in large part to the fact that Jason was one of the first to pick it up.

To summarize, Statham prefers training with his own weight, appreciates variety in training and sticks to a diet.
