Dream job: how fitness bloggers turned a hobby into a source of income

You can find information on any topic in social networks. Health and wellness recipes, home workouts, recommendations on yoga and breathing practices – more than one profile on Instagram alone is devoted to this. Someone really understands the issue on a professional level, and someone to win the attention of subscribers helped personal experience and unusual presentation.

Some people managed to monetize their passion for healthy lifestyle and earn good money on their accounts. We tell you about three bloggers who are making millions thanks to Instagram.

Tema Fit

Talking about his path to a healthy lifestyle and fitness in social networks, Tema emphasizes four key moments: “15 years old. Summer. Mirror. Pimple.” At first, the blogger thought that after a month of active training he would easily “turn from a caterpillar into a butterfly.” “So he began to act: push-ups from the floor with books on his back, pull-ups with a briefcase loaded with bricks. In general, all sorts of stuff I was doing,” he admits.

Soon sports really caught Tema’s fancy: he started reading books on bodybuilding, watched training videos on YouTube and started going to the gym regularly.

He cited consistency in his workouts as the key to success. “I never once took a break for more than two weeks, and that was because I went somewhere that didn’t have a gym,” the blogger says. Even after seven years, he still gets the same pleasure from the classes. According to Tema, the thing is that it doesn’t feel like a routine: the exercises are constantly changing, you have to learn and learn something new all the time.

That’s why he decided to start a blog. At first, he wanted to check for himself whether it was possible to get relief abs without giving up sweets. And later the blogger decided to share his knowledge with others. Now he has a lot of rubrics in Instagram, especially in stories. Among them are useful exercises, a breakdown of common mistakes in weight loss, a male perspective on female things, as well as various collaborations and battles with other bloggers, including fitness trainers.

Anastasia Mironova

“Moral core” – this phrase meets everyone who visits the page of blogger, designer and trainer Anastasia Mironova. The girl started with dissatisfaction with her own reflection in the mirror. She is not shy to show the past self and shares in social networks photos “before”.

The story of transformation began when Mironova moved from her native village to St. Petersburg, and at the age of 21 decided to leave her office job and, after studying at a bodybuilding and fitness college, began leading group workouts. Coming, as she notes, to its logical conclusion, she launched an online project.

The goal of the online fitness school is to help girls fall in love with themselves all over again. In addition to marathons, courses, which are extremely popular, among the publications you can find video lessons with exercises and various types of workouts. The difference between this account and many others dedicated to fitness is that Anastasia touches upon such an important aspect as psychology: many posts are devoted to self-care, love for one’s own body, the problem of dependence on the environment and inner confidence.

In addition to the main fitness account, where the blogger publishes workouts, advice from nutritionists and other useful posts, the girl has a sports store, which is also actively developing and popular.

Having a reputation as a popular fitness blogger, Anastasia launched a cosmetics brand and continues to keep a personal blog. In the future, she admits, she plans to earn 30 million rubles a month.

Igor Voytenko

At the age of 21, Igor Voytenko decided to leave everything in his native Ukraine and move to Poland. He started working in a fast food restaurant to save up money to open a store. At the same time, he made YouTube videos of home workouts.

Having earned enough, Igor returned to his native country and launched his own clothing brand. However, he did not abandon the video – he continued filming, and in an improved format: the quality of filming has increased, and the exercises have become more intense and original. One of the most popular videos on the channel tells how to pump up the abs, practicing only seven minutes a day.

The first success was followed by the second – the opening of a fitness gym in Moscow. This business brought Igor a lot of income and even greater fame, but in the end it had to be abandoned because of the move. Now the blogger lives in the USA, actively talks about new experiences in a new country and continues to share fitness tips with his subscribers.
