Fall collections of brands inspired by soccer, sneakers and urban environments

The eve of the World Cup defines trends – we’re all dressing up in jerseys, and brands are always bringing us new collections inspired by the upcoming mundial. But in our selection you’ll find capsules dedicated to basketball, fitness and even the city.

Monochrome & NIKITA EFREMOV

It’s insanely happy to include in the selection a collaboration of two Russian brands of such magnitude. Now it seems that before Monochrome, oversize didn’t exist at all. At least in the form that we want to dress in every day at any time of the year.

There are only five models in the collection, but each of them is inspired by a famous pair of sneakers that were selected by the guys from the NIKITA EFREMOV brand. All products have an exclusive design and a colorful story, which the brands tell on their resources. Blogger Danya Milokhin became the face of the collection.

We talked to the founder of the brand NIKITA EFREMOV about snicker culture and sneakers for a million rubles.

“Roma”, New Balance and creative brand Aries

London-based publisher Aries and New Balance have reunited to provide a stellar collaboration for Italian soccer giant Roma. The capsule dedicated to Rome has been dubbed ‘The City that Shapes Culture’.

The collection includes official pitch uniforms, a pre-match collection as well as stylized accessories. The designs are based on elements of Roman architecture, the Capitoline identity and the club’s red and yellow colors.

Y-3 x PALACE.

This year adidas and designer Yohji Yamamoto celebrated two decades of their legendary partnership, represented by the Y-3 brand with the “20 Years: Recoded” series.

Soccer icon Zinedine Zidane and skateboarding legend Lucas Puig were the faces of the collection. The collection contains both apparel and footwear that combined the love of sports and the spirit of skateboarding.

Tommy Jeans x NBA

Just in time for the start of the NBA playing season, the league partnered with legendary brand Tommy Jeans. The collection combines nostalgia for the ’90s with colorful bomber jackets, plush zippers, fleece pullovers, contrasting hoodies and athletic pants, and t-shirts.

The capsule includes league teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors and the iconic Los Angeles Lakers logos that appear on licensed merchandise in the collection. In addition to the logos, all items feature signature color combinations.

Louis Vuitton FIFA World Cup 2022

The brand presented a collection of accessories designed specifically for the World Cup 2022. It is inspired by soccer and the style players like to display both on and off the pitch.

The exclusive capsule of five black Taurillon leather collectibles includes the iconic Keepall 50, City Keepall and the Discovery backpack. The items are adorned with leather tags in the form of a soccer league emblem with LV branding.

The collection is completed by a cosmetic bag and a pocket organizer with five internal pockets.

Savage X Fenty.

In October, Rihanna, who owns Savage X Fenty, released the first sports collection within the brand. The focus here is on athletic and functional clothing for women.

The collection includes jumpsuits, high-waisted leggings, bodysuits and low to medium support bras. Initial colorways include black, royal blue and pink.

We think of sports as the way people move through life. I want people to feel sexy, carefree and strong when they wear these things.

Rihanna

The collection is on sale now, with prices starting at $30.
