Eat fatty foods and still get rid of excess weight? Sounds like something fantastic. It’s no wonder that ketodiet, which involves this approach to dieting, reaches peak popularity every few years. If you can lose calories and avoid severe starvation and exhausting sports, why do you need all the other methods of weight loss? That’s why many showbiz stars love ketodiet. But not everything is so simple.

What is ketodiet?

The essence of ketodiet is that you exclude carbohydrates from your diet. And not only fast, but also slow. That is, we are even talking about the refusal of buckwheat and oatmeal. And then there is a deception of the body, which without carbohydrates independently begins to search for a source of energy. And it finds it in burning fat, thanks to which the weight decreases.

The irony is that in order to burn fat on a ketodiet, you need to consume fat. It is the fats that make up 75% of this diet. It is recommended to eat more meat, bacon, including fried and salted. Eggs, vegetable and butter, nuts, mushrooms, vegetables – all this will go to your advantage.

But from flour products will have to give up completely. As well as from sugar, which is categorically contraindicated in ketodiet. So for lovers of sweets it can be a problem. By the way, the rules exclude corn and potatoes. And the use of any alcohol should be minimized, ideally cut out of the diet.

Despite a number of prohibitions, ketodiet allows you to create the most diverse menu for a person. Of course, within reasonable limits and not ten minutes before going to bed.

Ketodiet became a real hit thanks to the sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. Kim actively talked about this method of weight loss after giving birth, when she gained almost 30 kg. Ketodiet worked as it should and allowed her to get back into shape. Kourtney sat on a diet when in her body was found an increased content of lead and mercury. The girl prefers avocado salad, where she adds chicken and salmon. Sometimes the star cooks meat on the grill and adds broccoli or cauliflower. Secondly, the trick of ketodiet is that it burns mainly fat coming from food, not the fat you have been saving for years. So, again, there is a high probability that it will come back to you.

Before you decide to lose weight, it is recommended that you consult your doctor. Because ketodiet has side effects like nausea, vomiting, appearance of kidney stones. So it’s a real health risk. Of course, not everyone may experience such symptoms, but it’s important to keep this in mind and be on your guard.
