Yoga at the End of the World. The amazing asanas of travel blogger Aniko

Blogger Anna Sologub, better known under the pseudonym Aniko, started practicing yoga 14 years ago. Since then, this practice has become an integral part of the girl’s life. She regularly practices and travels a lot. And, of course, she shares inspiring and mesmerizing photos from her trips with her audience.

The beginning of the yogic path

Aniko practices a direction called vinyasa flow, or yoga in dynamic flow. The movements that the girl performs are accompanied by proper breathing. Unlike other types of yoga, vinyasa flow is characterized by a smooth sequence of asanas. This feature can be seen in the videos of training – the blogger often posts them in her “instagram”.

According to Aniko, yoga comes into life when a person is ready for it. Anna’s first classes took place right in the office. She stayed there after work and practiced for several hours. Naturally, at first she didn’t do much, and her body didn’t obey at all. But, as the girl admitted in an interview, she felt that she was on the right track.

I couldn’t hear my body very well and I didn’t understand what yoga was. But by the incredible state of fullness and transformation that I felt after the practice, I intuitively felt that it was the right path.

At some point, the blogger quit yoga and didn’t practice it for the next five years. Aniko had two children, and during this time she moved to France. The second attempt to plunge into the practice happened when the girl realized that she could not stand in a simple bridge. It was from this moment that a more conscious attitude to training appeared.

Initially Anna started practicing in order to get in shape and feel comfortable in her body. She took courses with the president of the French Yoga Association Gerard Arnaud.

Progress and realization of the beauty of her own body

Later, the regular yoga classes grew into something more. In 2013 Aniko started teaching. Now she conducts various master classes and leads specialized courses. In addition, the blogger regularly organizes yoga tours to picturesque places near the ocean. For example, to the Indonesian island of Bali and Indian Goa.

Over the years of training, Anna has formed her own concept of beauty. She believes that the body is attractive when it is full of intelligence and reflects the work done. And we are not talking about muscles aimlessly inflated in the gym, with which you can do nothing, but about a truly intelligent body.

What parts of the world has Aniko already traveled to?

Together with yoga Aniko has already traveled to many countries. In what only locations she did not get into the most difficult poses. Not so long ago, the blogger published a photo in which she stands on her head on the ice of the Gulf of Finland. By the way, Shirshasana is the most difficult pose, it is mentioned as the king of all asanas.

Anna also practiced yoga in Georgia: both on the streets of old cities and on the roof of buildings. Under one of the photos taken in the village of Kvariati, the girl wrote that, in fact, she does not divide her life into work and rest. And all her travels are a part of her favorite business, which in addition brings income.

In our opinion, one of the most unusual places for practicing yoga is the cities of Greece. After all, against the backdrop of traditional white stone buildings, residents are much more accustomed to seeing parkour enthusiasts than adherents of graceful practices.

In France, too, Aniko has explored many locations. Asana on the background of the Eiffel Tower was not the end of the matter, and last summer the girl practiced yoga in a field with a whole flock of sheep grazing around her.

The blogger’s love for yoga proves that when you really like doing something, you will enjoy it anywhere in the world. And beauty can be found within four walls, even when there are children running around demanding your attention.
