Their usefulness is confirmed not only by folk medicine, but also by science, and the positive properties of this product have a record number. Pumpkin seeds contain various vitamins and other useful substances. And in the oil (its share is on average 35-40% of the seed) there are unsaturated, saturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids.

In addition, pumpkin seeds reduce the risk of cancer. It’s all about the same zinc and calcium. Zinc reacts to calcium signals that come from cancer cells and neutralizes them, according to scientists from Greece.

Stop motion sickness

If you suffer from seasickness but have to travel by water transportation, grab a pack of pumpkin seeds. They will help relieve nausea. This kind of a lifehack also works for motion sickness in a car or other transportation.

Normalizes digestion

Pumpkin seeds are a source of fiber: about 3.9 g of fiber per 100 g of kernels. A diet high in dietary fiber promotes good digestive system function. In addition, high-fiber diets also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes and obesity.

At one time it is not recommended to eat more than 20 pieces. Abuse seeds should not be abused – as already mentioned, they contain a lot of biologically active substances and are quite caloric (556 kcal per 100 g).
