All to the start: triathlon competition calendar

Triathlon starts are gaining more and more popularity. Today there are competitions with different distances, which often allows not only experienced triathletes but also beginners to try their hand. We’ve put together a series of Ironstar starts that you can take part in over the coming months.

Ironstar 113 Sochi 2018

What: 1.93km swim, 90km bike race, 21.1km run
Where: Imeretinsky port bay; Sochi Avtodrom and then the Adler-Krasnaya Polyana highway; Imeretinsky resort district, Sochi
When: June 2, 2018

Ironstar 113 Sochi 2018 marks the opening of the triathlon season in Russia. Competitors will be able to enjoy not only the atmosphere of sports competitions, but also the opportunity to visit the unique facilities of Olympic Sochi. For example, Sochi Autodrom is the only place in Russia where the Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place.

Ironstar SuperMix Zavidovo 2018.

What: swimming 1.5 km, cycling 67 km, running 15 km (held in two stages).
Where: water areas of Ivankovskoye reservoir; Yamskoy les park, Zavidovo
When: June 30, 2018

SuperMix consists of two stages. First, participants will have to swim 0.5km, complete a 22km bike stage and a 5km run. After a break, which will last approximately two hours, the second stage will begin: a 1km swim, a 45km bike stage and a 10km run. The participants will enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Zavidovo, contact with nature and, of course, the support of fans.

Registration.

You can also take part only in the first stage – Ironstar 1/8 Zavidovo 2018 – or in the second stage – Ironstar 1/4 Zavidovo 2018. There will be separate scoring for relay teams.
Registration for 1/4 and registration for 1/8.

Ironman 113 Kazan 2018 Timerman Cup

What: 1.93km swim, 90km bike race, 21.1km run

Ironstar Sprint Kazan 2018 Timerman Cup

What: 0.75km swim, 20km bike race, 5km run
Where: Kazanka River; main streets of Kazan; Kremlin Embankment
When: August 4, 2018

The Timerman Cup is a triathlon competition that awards points to participants. Participants of the start in Kazan will be included in the Timerman Cup ranking. Triathletes will also enjoy the main sights of Kazan and a festive atmosphere.

Ironstar Crocus Fitness 1/8 Triathlon 2018

What: 500m swim, 22km bike race, 5km run.
Where: water area of Pavshinskaya floodplain of the Moskva River; territory of Crocus City, Moscow
When: August 26, 2018

These competitions will be held as part of the Russian Fitness Fair festival and will suit both beginners and experienced triathletes. And the venue – Russia’s largest shopping, exhibition and business center “Crocus City” – will provide an unforgettable atmosphere.

Ironstar 226 Sochi 2018

What: swimming 3.86 km, cycling 180 km, running 42.195 km
Where: Imereti port bay; Sochi Avtodrom, further to Krasnaya Polyana; Black Sea embankment and mole overlooking the coast, Sochi city

This impressive ‘iron’ course is a real opportunity to test yourself against the clock. A track that will leave no one indifferent, overwhelming emotions, the atmosphere of a great sports festival – all this is the start in Sochi.

Ironstar Olympic Triathlon Sochi 2018

What: 1.5km swim, 40km bike race, 10km run.
Where: Imereti port bay; Sochi Autodrom, Adler-Krasnaya Polyana mountain track; Black Sea embankment and mole overlooking the coast, Sochi city

To run the Olympic distance in Olympic Sochi is symbolic. Not only the spirit of the Games, but also the picturesque sea and mountain scenery gives a special atmosphere to the Sochi starts.
