700 cyclists made the most massive drop-off in history.

Mountain biking down a glacier is not a good idea. However, in the Alps, they do it every year. “Hell Mountain” is an annual race at the Le Des Alpes ski resort. Race participants drive down from an altitude of about 3 and a half thousand meters on an icy track.

This year, about 700 cyclists took part in the race. For one of them, the exit was too steep. He lost control and fell, triggering a chain reaction. Cyclists started crashing and falling one after another. Dozens of participants were caught in the rubble, which almost completely clogged the track.

Despite the frightening footage, organizers reported that none of the participants in the accident were seriously injured.
