The line between sporty and classic style is gradually disappearing, and casual is gaining more and more attention. In 2020, many luxury brands decided to turn to the theme of sports. Dior, Gucci, Prada released their own lines for outdoor activities in cooperation with leading sports manufacturers. We tell you about the five most striking collaborations.

Supreme x Nike

In September 2020, the two fashion brands released a joint collection. The fall release featured tracksuits, anoraks, reversible pants and hoodies in bright colors.

Transparent nylon is a key element of the collection. The designers used cotton fleece and large logo patches to create the garments. Despite the fact that fall is long over, the collection is still on trend: some of the pieces are quite suitable for a warm urban winter.

Wolford x Adidas

Austrian brand Wolford has released a new seamless garment design in collaboration with adidas. Inspired by the sports style of the 80’s and 90’s in the USA, the fashion designers created a luxurious transparent knit that fits the body and emphasizes the silhouette.

For Wolford, this collaboration is a significant milestone: adidas is the first major company to partner with the brand.

Dior x Air Jordan

The release of the sneakers from the two legendary brands Air Jordan and Dior took place on July 8, 2020. There is no doubt that it was one of the brightest events in the fashion industry of the past year. And although more than 5 million people pre-ordered, not everyone managed to get the novelty.

Each pair of sneakers was made in Italy from genuine calfskin, and the design of the model won the hearts of all lovers of sports shoes.

adidas x Prada

In December, adidas and Prada presented a new joint collection. The result is the futuristic A + P Luna Rossa 21, which was designed for yachtsmen and inspired by the design of the new AC75 Luna Rossa boat, as well as iconic Prada and adidas models.

Gucci x The North Face

The Italian fashion house presented a collaboration with sports brand The North Face in the run-up to the new year. The clothes are designed for outdoor activities: the release includes down jackets, rain jackets, bombers, vests and fleece hoodies. In addition, the collection includes backpacks, belt bags, even a tent and sleeping bag.

Patterns, colors and even the new combined logo all emphasize the specialness of both brands.
