Alfa Future People festival

From August 10 to 12 near Nizhny Novgorod will be held a traditional music and technology festival Alfa Future People. You will be able to dance to the most modern music, listen to a lot of lectures from businessmen, bloggers and representatives of companies dealing with the latest developments in the field of medicine and digital environment. From August 17 to 19 in the Moscow ice palace “Park of Legends” and in the complex “Lata Trek” will be held large-scale sports competitions, where the strongest crossfit athletes not only from Russia, but also from Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan will fight. Summer entertainment festival “LokoLand 2018”

On August 19, the territory of the stadium complex “RZD Arena” will once again turn into an amusement park for fans of yoga, street culture, sports, music and cool open-air parties.

The festival program includes yoga and twine lessons at the main arena of the stadium, a children’s water park and a mini-pool for adults, trampolines and bungee jumping, street soccer, streetball, rugby and table tennis tournaments, turbo show with vintage maslkars and grid gerls, camel and alpaca riding, dance flash mobs, beatbox show, foam party, street food and much more.

Gran Fondo rattasõit

On August 12, the largest road cycling race in Russia – Gran Fondo Russia – will take place in Ruza. Participants can choose one of three distances: 30 km, 60 km and 100 km. The race will be timed to coincide with the 690th anniversary of the city of Ruza.

Recall that the race series Gran Fondo appeared almost half a century ago in Italy and quickly spread around the world. These bike races reached Russia only in 2016 thanks to Derk Sauer – a Dutch businessman and a great fan of cycling.

From August 23 to 26, a grandiose event from the world of fitness – Russian Fitness Fair – will be held on the territory of the largest in Russia trade and exhibition and business center “Crocus City”. The organizers of the event are Crocus Fitness chain of fitness clubs and the Moscow Federation of Fitness Aerobics. Ironstar Crocus Fitness 1/8 Triathlon 2018

On August 26, there will be a triathlon start, which will be held as part of the Russian Fitness Fair festival. These competitions will suit both beginners and experienced triathletes. And the venue – Crocus City Trade, Exhibition and Business Center – will provide an unforgettable atmosphere. A 500-meter swim, a 22-km cycling race and a 5-km run are waiting for you. Venue: the water area of Pavshinskaya floodplain of the Moskva River and the territory of Crocus City.

Corporate race The Moscow Ironstar Relay

On August 26th within the framework of Russian City Fair a 10 km corporate race will be held. The idea is that the participants of the event will represent the company they work for. You can run together with your colleagues in teams of four (each running 2.5 km) and eight (each running 1.25 km) people. Not only the competitions themselves on the territory of Crocus City, but also a large-scale entertainment program are waiting for you.

Ironstar Indoor Triathlon Series in Dubai

This is a series of cup triathlon competitions that take place indoors. These triathlon starts are different in that there are no clear-cut distances. The challenge for the participants is to perform their best in the allotted time.

Russian Running Cup

On August 19 in Izmailovsky forest park will be held the first Russian Cup in running. You can choose one of the presented distances: 3 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21 km. The participants will be awarded sports ranks and titles according to the World Running Federation.

Surf True Wakesurfing Contest

On August 11-12 Konakovo River Club event-hotel will host Surf True wakesurfing contest. They will consist of two parts: official All-Russian wakesurfing competitions – they are also a qualifying stage for the Russian Championship Bulli Surf Cup – and amateur competitions in classic ocean surfing on waves from the boat.

The Russian Championship itself will be held on August 25-26 at the Rowing Channel in Moscow.
