Careful, Olivier! How to prepare healthy dishes for the New Year’s table

New Year’s Eve is a real test for those who all year long strived to keep the figure. So want not to deny themselves in appetizers and desserts on the table. And we are ready to fully support you in this. The most fabulous and magical evening is worth spending it at dinner with loved ones and allow yourself a glass of sparkling wine. And in order not to go overboard with the number of calories, we have prepared five delicious alternative recipes that you can treat yourself and your guests with.
New Year’s tangerines
We found a simple and original recipe for an appetizer that will definitely surprise everyone. For its preparation you will need:⠀
- grated cheese – 100 g.
- cooked chicken breast – 300 g.
- ricotta/cream cheese – 200 g.
- spices – garlic, black pepper, salt⠀
- carrots – 2-3 large⠀
Preparation method:⠀
- Boil the breast and carrots.
- Mix grated cheese, cooked chicken, separated into fibers, ricotta and spices, mix the ingredients well.
- Grate the cooked carrots and place on food wrap.
- Roll a ball of the cheese-chicken mixture and wrap the carrots with the food wrap.⠀
- Decorate the finished tangerines with leaves from real tangerines and serve.
Stuffed tomatoes
Perhaps this is one of the easiest appetizers to prepare. Such a dish looks very beautiful on the table, and most importantly – will not scare you with a lot of harmful and caloric ingredients.⠀
Sa pead:
- tomatoes – 4 pcs.
- cream cheese – 250 gr.
- lightly salted fish (trout, salmon) – 200 g.
- garlic – 2 cloves.
- herbs – to your taste, here – parsley, cilantro, dill.
Valmistamismeetod:
- Finely chop the greens and combine with the cream cheese.
- Add garlic and diced fish.
- Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and peel the center.
- Add the filling to the tomatoes.
Lifehack: you can put the pulp of the tomatoes in a container and put it in the refrigerator, and then use it in soups and other dishes.
Light salad with chicken and nuts
Another variant of the salad for your New Year’s table also does not differ in complexity. The main secret is to replace mayonnaise with yogurt. By the way, you can also use this flyhack in the preparation of many other dishes. Don’t thank me.
And yet, to prepare this salad you will need:
- eggs – 4 pcs.
- chicken fillet – 300 g.
- celery – 4 roots
- walnuts – 100 g.
- apple – 1 pc.
- yogurt for dressing
Valmistamismeetod:
- Boil eggs and chicken breast.
- Cut all ingredients into small cubes.
- Add yogurt as dressing and mix.
- Decorate the salad with nuts.
Main course: rotisserie chicken
With this recipe, you can prepare not only a breast, but a whole chicken for all the guests. It turns out dressy and quite festive.⠀
Sa pead:
- chicken breast on the bone
- tomato – 1 pc.
- cheese – 50 g.
- sour cream – 1 tbsp.
- garlic – 2 cloves.
- paprika – 1/2 tsp.
- nutmeg – 1/2 tsp.
- salt, pepper
- taimeõli - 1 spl.
Cooking method:
- In the chicken make deep incisions-pockets.
- Grease a baking mold with vegetable oil, lay the chicken in it.
- Sprinkle with paprika, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Rub the mixture into the meat.
- Place tomato slices and cheese slices in the pockets.
- Mix the sour cream with the garlic through a press, salt and pepper. Coat the chicken.
- Cover with foil and put in a preheated oven for an hour at 180 degrees. Then remove the foil and return the chicken to the oven until it bakes until browned.
Christmas muffin with dried fruit
So how can we do without desserts? However, a calorie-laden cake from the store can be replaced with a healthier alternative. A cupcake without sugar and milk only sounds complicated. In fact – it is seven steps of preparation, for which you will need:
- Raisins – 150 g.
- apricots – 100 g.
- Prunes – 100 g.
- Walnuts – 100 g.
- Rice flour – 110 g.
- Csz flour – 110 g.
- Cinnamon – 3 tsp.
- Ginger, nutmeg, vanillin – a pinch each
- Baby apple puree – 200 g.
- Apple – 200 g.
- Baking powder – 10 g.
- Coconut oil – 2 tbsp.
Valmistamismeetod:
- Pour not very hot water over raisins and apricots, prunes for a few minutes, after which the dried fruit should be rinsed dry with a paper towel.
- Cut prunes and apricots into small pieces and chop walnuts.
- Peel and core the fresh apples and turn them into a puree with a blender, mix with the ready puree.
- Mix the flour with baking powder and spices, combine with the fruit and nut mixture.
- Then add the puree and butter. Mix everything thoroughly but very gently.
- In the mold, place the dough and flatten – you need to send the mold into a preheated oven to 160 ° C for 50-70 minutes. You can check the readiness of the cupcake with a wooden toothpick.
- Ready cupcake should be allowed to cool at room temperature. Before serving, sprinkle it with cocoa, cinnamon or protein.
