Today, only the most vicious hater of Nurmagomedov does not recognize him as a great fighter. He has written his name in the history of martial arts: 29 wins and not a single loss. Few people can boast such success. So how did Khabib manage to reach the top? It’s not just talent or luck, but serious daily work on himself. How does one of the most famous UFC fighters train and can you do the same?
Recent successes
In October, the main fight of this year in the UFC took place: the current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov met in the ring with Justin Gaethje to defend the title of champion and come out on top of the list of all UFC fighters regardless of weight class.
The result was though not predictable, but expected for Khabib’s fans – a crushing victory. The opponent was only a round and a half long enough before “The Eagle” was able to win for the 29th time in the octagon.
After the fight, Khabib stated that he decided to end his career.
What is Khabib’s strength?
The answer to this question is quite simple, but from that no less interesting. Khabib is not from another planet, he is a human being like everyone else. And for a successful career in fights it is not necessary to have supernatural abilities, although Nurmagomedov has a lot of talent. Hard training and unlimited motivation, helped by coaches and close people, are enough.
Even after the victory over Conor McGregor, who before the fight allowed himself to be rude to his opponent, and then clapped an exhausted hand on Khabib’s shoulder, the latter did not stoop to insults. Instead, Nurmagomedov continued his daily training and scored three more crushing victories.
Khabib trains every day without exception. His schedule includes activities of various kinds, which are aimed not only at the development of strength, agility and fighting skills. The fighter also pays attention to cardio training, stretching and recovery procedures.
During the week, Khabib’s workouts look like this.

Perhaps now Khabib will devote a little less time to such hard training. However, the path to championship lies through heavy loads, development of his own new methods, finding and eliminating weaknesses and the ability to make the most of the strong ones. Khabib is a role model and a source of motivation and inspiration for many, and his training plan is something you can follow if you want.
