Last weekend we decided to visit the most “girly” weekend at adidas BASEMOSCOW in Gorky Park. We tell you how we burned calories at the training session, listened to a fitness lecture and found out where the most favorable places for selfies are.

11:30. We had registered for the training in advance on the website, now it was just a matter of waking up and arriving on time. We agreed to meet at the main entrance to the park at 12:00.

12:10. Well, we are girls, so 10 minutes late doesn’t count. The weather today didn’t let us down: it was warm and sunny, which means that nothing will prevent us from training to the fullest, and those who wish will even be able to visit the outdoor pool and aqua-aerobics classes.

Today we signed up for Power Tri – it’s a unique training complex of three parts, the final block all the girls could visit the pool or stay on dry land and have a 15-minute warm-up – stretching with a trainer.

12:30. Before getting your starter kit, we walk around the site and look at all the zones. There’s a huge amount of activity here today to make for a perfect day off.

12:55. Five minutes before the start, we take comfortable seats in the front row. In fact, even if you’re a little late, it doesn’t mean the workout is canceled. On the PowerTri site, training slots start every hour from 11 to 17:00, and the process takes only 45 minutes.

The principle behind PowerTri is to deliver the most effective and functional workout possible in the least amount of time. According to the trainer’s promise, you can lose as much as 1000 kcal in 45 minutes if you work out at full strength.

13:00. We start the first block of Power Fight. This is a training with elements of martial arts.

13:10. Intensive and dynamic. I can feel my breathing slowing down as all the exercises are performed at a fairly fast pace for a beginner. In addition to the load on the arms and legs, coordination and balance are also emphasized. Yes, yes, if you thought that “swinging fists” is easy, you were very wrong.

13:15. There are still a couple of minutes left before the end of the first block, the strength is leaving little by little, but the main thing is the sparkle in my eyes and the desire to perform a couple more approaches. The girl next to me suggests closing your eyes and visualizing someone you strongly dislike.

13:16. In principle, it can be considered that the lifehack works. Not only will you be able to pump up your dream butt during leg swings, but you’ll also be able to release negative energy.

13:20. Meanwhile, we’re moving on to the next block of our workout – Power Body. Circular powerlifting is the one you least expect to get after such an intense start. But there’s nowhere to go, so we keep going, like doing deep squats and burpees.

13:25. It seems that the second breath has opened, or it’s the sun stopped scorching the training ground so mercilessly. The coach is very motivating, and the word very can be highlighted in capslock and written four more times in a row. 13:30. The final exercises in the power block are performed on the mat. Pumping up the abs and legs. A little more, and the owners of blue bracelets (they were given out in the registration area) will go to the pool to continue training in the aqua-zone, and the remaining girls will start stretching.

13:35. To be fair, we chose classical stretching, but our correspondent still went to the pool area to shoot the most summery shots and tell our readers about where to take awesome selfies with a circle in the form of a doughnut or a pink flamingo.

13:40. Stretch, do a warm-up after our fitness intensive and make plans to conquer the remaining areas in adidas BASEMOSCOW.

14:00. There is a whole hour left before the lecture with fitness-blogger Yulia Ushakova, so we go to the second floor of the base to warm up under the gentle July sun and get a little tan.

14:15. Decide to look at our starter packs that we were given at registration. Inside we found a lot of discounts from partners of the event, a nutritious bar with raspberries, water and stickers, which we want to stick on every surface we can find.

14:50. We gathered in the lecture area, scored pouffes and prepared to listen attentively for the next hour about proper nutrition, motivation and the first steps on the way to creating an ideal body.

16:10. We’re off to explore the beauty zones we haven’t explored yet. After working out and pumping our brains in the lecture hall, it’s time to get a beautiful style from Redken, makeup from Urban Decay and even (oh my god) a manicure from Shelly. All areas are completely free of charge.

17:30. Don’t be surprised that it all took us an hour and a half, it’s just that the girls don’t keep track of time when it comes to getting their beauty fix. Rested and in a great mood we went up to the photo-zone, which is located on the third floor.

17:35. Here any girl will face the agony of self-determination, because she will have to understand: who she is and what she creates in this life. We couldn’t find the right noun for ourselves, but we easily found a description for the section.
