Winter warming recipes for those who are bored with ordinary drinks.
With the arrival of frost, more than ever you want to crouch at home with a cup of hot tea. Or pour a warming drink in a thermos and go for a walk. If you are bored with ordinary tea, you can diversify it by adding various spices. We have compiled a selection of recipes that will definitely help you warm up this winter.
Spiced chai tea latte
Sa pead:
- vesi - 200 ml;
- piim - 200 ml;
- cinnamon – ½ tsp;
- black tea – 1.5 tsp;
- ground cardamom – ½ tsp;
- a pinch of ground ginger;
- pinch of nutmeg;
- cloves – 6 pcs;
- a pinch of ground black pepper;
- sugar – 1.5 tsp.
In a container pour water, milk, add tea, spices and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to a minimum. Then taste: if it doesn’t taste spicy enough, add ingredients a little at a time. Stir and simmer for another 5-7 minutes. Then pour into a cup, passing through a strainer. You can add whipped milk to the drink.
Masala tea with pepper
Sa pead:
- vesi - 500 ml;
- piim - 200 ml;
- cardamom – 6 pcs;
- black pepper peas – 6 peppercorns;
- kaneel - 1 tikk;
- cloves – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 2 tbsp;
- black tea – 1 tbsp.
Mix water with milk and put on fire in a deep saucepan. Cardamom, cloves, pepper and sugar should be crushed in a mortar and added to it. Bring to a boil, turn the power down to low and cook for about 15 minutes. Then remove from the heat and add the tea. Infuse the drink for a few more minutes. Strain before serving.
Important: serve masala tea with black pepper hot.
Cranberry-raspberry tea
Sa pead:
- vesi - 1 liiter;
- frozen cranberries – 100 g;
- frozen raspberries – 100 g;
- suhkur - 100 g;
- fresh cranberries – to taste.
Cranberries and raspberries are whipped in a blender together with sugar to a homogeneous puree. Pour boiling water and let stand. You can decorate the drink with whole berries.
If you like a sweeter tea, you can add more sugar.
Orange tea
Sa pead:
- orange juice – 100 ml;
- black tea – 4 tsp;
- vesi - 1 liiter;
- lemon juice – 50 ml;
- suhkur - 50 g;
- kaneel - 2 tikku;
- mesi - maitse järgi;
- cloves – 10 pcs;
- orange peel.
Add sugar, spices and zest to water. Bring to a boil, remove the heat to a minimum and cook for a few more minutes. Then add the tea and let the drink infuse. Strain, add honey, orange and lemon juice.
Kalmyk tea
Sa pead:
- vesi - 1 liiter;
- milk – 1 liter;
- green tea – 100 g;
- sool - 2 tl;
- bay leaf – 4 pcs;
- black pepper – 16 peas;
- ground nutmeg – 1 tsp;
- butter – 4 tbsp;
- badanum – 5 g;
- St. aire and angelica – to taste.
Pour the tea with water, let it boil and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Add a little milk and again bring to a boil. Pour in all the milk a little at a time. Pour in salt and spices. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then leave to stand for 10 minutes. Then stir thoroughly and strain.
Punch tea in Cuban style
Sa pead:
- vesi - 500 ml;
- orange juice – 1 cup;
- ground cloves – 1 g;
- black tea – 30 g;
- grapefruit juice – 1 cup;
- canned pineapple – 250 g;
- suhkur - 100 g;
- lemon – 1 pc.
Brew tea and cloves, let infuse for 5 minutes, then strain through a strainer. Add juices, sugar and sliced pineapple. Put the pot with the drink on the fire, heat until steam appears above the surface. Then remove from the heat and serve.
