I’m losing weight: when to start, to be in time for summer?

Time flies imperceptibly. Before we know it, summer will be here. But every year the expectation of the hot season in many people is accompanied by a desire to lose weight by all means. If you include yourself in this category, we have some useful recommendations for you.
We talked to Maria Ratnikova, a nutritionist of Maailmaklass fitness clubs network, and found out when to start losing weight, where to start and what really affects the process of losing weight.
Rule No. 1
You should lose weight gradually. In a month you can lose weight by 2-4 kg.
Rule #2
Energy expenditure should be higher than its consumption. This is the key to success. To do this, you need to regularly engage in physical activity, and it is not so important what type of training you prefer. There are no special exercises for weight loss. It is advisable to have a professional trainer advise you how best to combine different workouts in your case.
Rule #3
Do not forget that it is not only about exercise. You need to follow the diet: you should eat 5-6 times a day in small portions, including breakfast. From the diet should be excluded products with a high content of sugar, salt, preservatives, dyes. Pay attention to non-starchy vegetables.
Rule #4
Detox is not a way to lose weight. Most often it is not necessary. Detox programs stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and provide short-term weight loss. If you want to carry out a detox, you need to sit on a preparatory diet a week before, and the detox itself should be carried out in a course of no more than 3-5 days.

Detox is contraindicated in pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, chronic liver and kidney disease, peptic ulcer, gastritis with high acidity and in the exacerbation of any chronic disease. Also, detox should not be carried out on children.
Remember that you need to sensibly assess your capabilities, keep a balance and go to the goal gradually. For example, to start losing weight on May 31… no, it’s not too late! Yes, you won’t lose weight in time for summer, but is that all it’s about?
