Tells us which habitual products can cause allergies and increase the risk of developing diseases.

Among the abundance of products, the five most harmful are most common:

  • Ready-made seasoning mixes for soups and second courses;
  • cereals and other ready-to-eat breakfast cereals;
  • instant cereal;
  • processed cheese.

Most of these products are intended for a quick breakfast, and it is difficult to imagine a holiday salad without mayonnaise. But what exactly is their danger and harm, we will tell you in detail.

Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is one of the most common sauces in the world. They dress salads, with its addition cook first and second courses. You can replace store-bought mayonnaise with homemade mayonnaise, made from egg yolks and raw oil, it is less harmful to the body and even useful, if it is not abused.

Mayonnaise from the store overloads the digestive system, provokes pain in the stomach, heartburn, abdominal bloating.

Mayonnaise is a high-calorie product with low nutritional density, that is, you get 120-150 calories in one spoonful of sauce and zero benefit to the body, while worsening the intestinal microbiota. The taste of mayonnaise is improved by flavor enhancers, there are trans fats, preservatives, stabilizers, a lot of salt.

Overeating salty sauce leads to heart problems and high blood pressure. In addition, baked in the oven under mayonnaise “coat” dishes are saturated with carcinogenic substances.

Ready-made seasoning mixes

Ready-made mixtures for baking chicken, cooking pasta “Bolognese” and Caesar salad are impressive in flavor and convenience, because you do not need to buy a dozen spices for the sake of one dish. But such seasoning packets contain a huge amount of salt, oil, flavorings, colorings and flavor enhancers, which is definitely not good for your health and can even provoke allergies.

Cereal and ready-to-eat breakfast cereals

Chocolate balls, rings, sweet granola bars and breakfast cereals can be found in many people’s cupboards. Advertising blatantly lies about the benefits of ready-made breakfast cereals, because they are the most unbalanced and unhealthy option for your morning meal. First, they are a sugar bomb, devoid of healthy plant fiber, but rich in flavorings, refined carbohydrates and dyes.

Breakfast cereals with nuts and dried berries can be dangerous for those with pollinosis (seasonal allergies). Patients with allergies to grass pollen and cereals can become cross-allergic: the immune system begins to react not only to pollen but also to other proteins similar in cellular structure, in this case cereal proteins.

Excess added sugar contributes to cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, as insulin spikes provoke hunger attacks and, consequently, overeating.

Processed cheese

Processed cheeses do not have the qualities and benefits of natural hard cheeses. Processed cheese is deficient in calcium, low in protein, vitamins and minerals. The texture and flavor of soft cheeses are often due to the content of harmful chemical ingredients, including melting salts, without which it is impossible to prepare this product.

In addition to melting salts, manufacturers may add a whole list of unsafe ingredients that turn processed cheese into a dangerous product: flavor and fragrance additives, preservatives, antioxidants, and starch. Such cheese usually contains a huge amount of salt, so it is better for hypertensive people to refuse this product altogether. Do not include sandwiches with processed cheese and in children’s menus.

Instant porridge

Quick-cooked porridge is not inferior to ready-made cereals in terms of harmfulness. They also raise blood sugar levels, but do not satiate – and after a while you feel hungry again. Quick-brewed cereal is high in calories because of the abundance of sugar and fast carbohydrates, which can lead to obesity if consumed constantly.
