5 rules for going to fast food without harming your figure

Skipping meals and starving yourself is definitely not the best idea.

Is it possible to eat properly in fast food? What can be eaten at the food court with a minimum of harm to health?

We tell you together with a nutritionist.

Healthy eating is so trendy today that even fast food outlets are introducing organic, vegetarian and PP meals into their menus. If your choices are limited to fast food restaurants, first check to see if they have a special menu. Some may surprise you with healthy alternatives. On the other hand, any fast food has salads, so, in general, you can limit yourself to them. But if you want variety, that’s not a problem either.

However, if you find yourself in a situation where you want healthy food, but only fast food with minimal PP meals are around, there are a few options to minimize the risks from eating junk food.

Opt for a chicken cutlet

The main ingredient in sandwiches and burgers is meat. Here too, you can choose responsibly. Usually, a burger patty is fried in boiling oil, which releases carcinogens in huge quantities, as well as an incredible amount of cholesterol into the bloodstream. The least healthy cutlet is considered to be a mixture of pork and beef. If the chosen fast food does not have a vegan or vegetable cutlet, give preference to a chicken fillet cutlet, preferably grilled. An important point – the cutlet should be without breading.

Order dessert only after the main course

For many, it goes without saying that after dinner you need to eat dessert. In fact, it is better to either give it up or order it after you have eaten. Because at first there may be a false sense of intense hunger, when it seems that you can easily eat “first, second, third and compote”. Give your body time to feel satiety – don’t rush.
