Nine years ago, Dave Barnes was an unassuming, skinny guy from Arizona State. Now he’s a social media-famous bodybuilder and on-call plumber. The incredible transformation of the bodybuilder caused a strong reaction on the Internet, the number of his followers in “Instagram” to date is 279 thousand. How has the life of a skinny teenager with big dreams changed?

Imitating his idols

Dave dreamed of being an actor from a young age. In an effort to become like his idols, Dwayne Johnson and Arnold Schwarzenegger, he took up bodybuilding.

“I wanted to be the next movie star,” Barnes claimed. But unfortunately, muscles alone were not enough and Dave has yet to fulfill his acting potential. He is not giving up and hopes that he will be able to make his main dream a reality. More recently, the bodybuilder entered the acting department.

After dreaming of a career in acting, Barnes started working as a plumber to earn a living. “I love helping people, it’s my passion,” he says. The bodybuilder strapped on his tool belt and set out to help others. It didn’t take long for everyone in town to start discussing the young pumped-up mastermind.

Dave started his own company, Muscle Tile, which specializes in repairs. Most of the customers are women. The bodybuilder plumber says that single housewives often stand over his head and try to flirt. But he remains faithful to his wife. However, the number of orders does not become less. Often the queue has to be taken two weeks in advance.

Popularity in social networks and the attention of women

The American bodybuilder became famous in social networks as soon as he shared the results of his transformation. Now he actively blogs about life, nutrition, training and business. Such fame gave him the opportunity to take part in the reality show “Games of Titans” on the NBC channel.

Naturally, the athlete receives countless comments and messages from female representatives. “The downside of social media is everyone sees you the way they want to see you,” Barnes assures.

Love and support

An important role in Dave’s changes was played by his wife. She supported him when Barnes was far from his “dream body.” The couple have known each other since childhood and have traveled a long road to happiness together. According to Barnes, they have never stopped working on their relationship. In his “instagram” Dave regularly posts photos with his beloved and thanks her for her support.

It’s hard to say exactly what path awaits the superhero plumber, but for now he continues to do business and keeps himself in great physical shape. Who knows? Maybe pretty soon his name will be as famous as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s.
