How did it all start?
In 2012, professional fitness trainer Drew Manning noticed that there was a disconnect between him and his clients who were unhappy with their shape.
They were convinced that the trainer couldn’t understand what they were going through. So he purposely gained 34 pounds to walk this journey with his clients. It was the hardest thing he ever did, but it changed his life forever.
Drew then created Fit to Fat to Fit, a project where 10 trainers from different cities challenge him to first gain weight and then do a lot of work with clients to lose it. The project is still functioning today.

One of the most popular participants of the project was Adonis Hill. He was convinced – to understand a full person, you need to be in his shoes. When a client Alice Kane turned to him for help, the athlete immediately realized the main problem that prevented her from losing weight.
It turned out that the girl was literally “broken”, she very much lacked faith in her own strength. She was convinced that she would never be able to lose weight, but Hill decided to prove otherwise and go through all the difficulties of losing weight with her.

A slim and pumped up guy gained over 30 pounds in four months. To do this, he completely stopped all workouts and consumed 6,000-7,000 calories a day with food.

With such a set, the whole body as a whole suffers. The endocrine, immune and nervous systems in the first place, because fat is deposited in different ways. Mostly in places where it does not interfere with our movement. That’s the abdomen, the cervical-collar area, the thighs, the buttocks. But if there’s too much of it, anything can become a piggy bank.
Adonis’ body changed dramatically, and doctors even insisted on stopping the experiment because of the increase in blood pressure, as well as due to the fact that the guy was diagnosed with hypertension and prediabetes.
But he doesn’t regret his decision and compares the risk he faced to “a firefighter entering a burning building and rescuing a person caught in the flames.”

After this weight gain, the bloated trainer set about transforming his client. They started the weight loss process together and practiced daily: running, jumping, stretching – all this was very difficult not only for Alice, but also for the experienced Adonis.
The weight loss scheme was based not only on the exercise system, but also on diet, which is a fundamental fact during any weight loss.
Fortunately, the project was successful: in four months, Adonis lost 25 kg, and Alice was able to get rid of 26 kg.

The reserves of many substances can run out, this can lead to disease. It is safe to thin a person can lose up to a kilogram a week.
