Trail, orienteering and Grand Prix: the main sporting events of November

It’s getting colder outside, fall is coming to an end, and with it the major outdoor sporting events. But don’t despair – there is still time! For those who want to actively finish the season and prepare for winter competitions, we have selected several interesting events.

Run-marathon “Bittsevskaya Straight”

When: November 22.

Where: Moscow.

Lovers of running, who are not stopped even by cold and gloomy weather, can take part in the run in Bittsevsky forest park. There are a lot of distances to choose from: from 500 meters to 50 kilometers. So you can easily find a route for your level of fitness.

Badӟõm Vu Indoor Swimming Competition

When: November 29.

Where: Izhevsk.

The name of the event translates from Udmurt as “Big Water”, although the competition itself will be held in closed water. You can take part both in an individual swim and in a relay race together with friends. For those who have decided to swim in the individual event, there are several distances: 50 meters (freestyle), 300 meters (freestyle) and 500 meters (freestyle). And to participate in the relay race you need a team of three people, one of whom must be a girl.

DAB Vertical AUTUMN Night

When: November 28-29.

Where: Moscow.

This year for the first time in Moscow there will be a trail-run from the Four Seasons DAB Vertical series. After climbing the hills, participants will have a beautiful view of the fall capital. Not only adults can run, but also children from 0 to 16 years old can run their own distance.

Moscow Autumn orienteering competition

When: November 22.

Where: Moscow.

In the park “Kuzminki” will be held the 14th stage of mass orienteering starts. Trained athletes can participate, for example, on the distance of 5-8 kilometers, and those who are just beginning to engage in orienteering – for them there is a short route of 1-2.5 kilometers.

Grand Prix of Figure Skating for the 2020/2021 season

When: November 20-22.

Where: Moscow.

Moscow’s fifth stage of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating series will be held at the Megasport Ice Palace. The competition will start with a short program for male figure skaters, followed by dancing on ice and the opening ceremony. The first day will end with the pairs and women’s short program.
