Games Without Borders show: who is involved in the new sports project?
We tell you about the athletes who volunteered to defend the honor of their country on the sports arena of the show.
“Games Without Borders is not just a project, but a real competition that tests the strength, agility and athletic prowess of the participants. Athletes from Russia, China, Iran, USA, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Brazil, India and Kazakhstan will compete for the title of winner and 10 million rubles. The full composition of the participants is still unknown and will be revealed from issue to issue. Now it is too early to talk about the finalists, but we can already accurately assess the contenders for victory.

The new show could not do without bright presenters, who are themselves associated with sports. Liaisan Utyasheva, honored master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics, two-time European champion, World Cup winner, will help the audience to feel a part of these competitions. As well as sports commentator with many years of experience and journalist Roman Naguchev. The comedian Tambi Masayev is responsible for the humor and pleasant atmosphere in the show.

- Galina Pyatnitsa, 30. Master of Sports International Class in boxing. World champion in kickboxing, winner of the World Boxing Cup.
- Kirill Makarenko, 21 years old. four-time world championship medalist in belt wrestling, prize-winner and winner of international and All-Russian tournaments in Greco-Roman wrestling.
- Sasha Stone, 25. Blogger, actor, fighter, multiple Russian martial arts champion.
- Alyona Lutkovskaya, 28. Winner and medalist of the World and European Junior Championships in pole vaulting. Holder of the world record among juniors in pole vaulting – 4.61 m (2015).
- Maria Molchanova, 36 years old. Sambo wrestler, multiple winner and medalist of Russian sambo championships, European champion.
- Daria Semyonova, 23 years old. Runner, member of the Nizhny Novgorod track and field team.
- Dinar Khairtdinov, 25. Fitness instructor, practiced strength sports, crossfit, master of sports of the international class in power kettlebell lifting.
- Ekaterina Shumkina, 24. Master of Sports in Wushu, winner of the Russian Cup, bronze and gold medal winner of the European Wushu Championship in 2017.
- Rusieta Yedidji, 35 years old. Rugby player, winner of the European Rugby Championship and the Universiade in 2013. Coach. (According to unconfirmed reports, will take part in the show).
- Alexander Tkachev, 29 years old. Crossfitter, multiple winner of competitions in this discipline.
- Maria Molchanova, 36. Honored Master of Sports in Sambo. Eight-time winner of the Russian championship, four-time world champion, three-time European champion. Wrestling and sambo coach.
India
- Voodoo Shatumar, 33 years old. Crossfitter since 2017. Ranked among India’s top five crossfit athletes for three years.
- Tom Chris Saxena, 34. Did MMA, jiu-jitsu and calisthenics, later focused on crossfit.
- Oman Bisht, 24. Engaged in calisthenics and coaches in this sport discipline. Three times champion and twice silver medalist at national calisthenics championships.
- Shivani Bamrara, 28. She practises calisthenics and teaches yoga.
- Shriyas Rao, 33. He has been involved in track and field for over 10 years, and after his fourth year he took up Crossfit. Won two national cross-country championships and participated in several crossfit championships.
- Pearl Monteiro, 35. He does calisthenics. Participates in competitions in this discipline.
China
- Zhou Jilin, 24 years old. Engaged in martial arts since the age of three. After a series of injuries he became a trainer, opened several boxing schools and a martial arts club.
- Li Rong, 26. Engaged in kung fu and wushu-sanda, later settled on sambo.
- Yang Xu, 23. Wushu-sanda coach. Champion of China among girls in wushu-sanda.
- Nyu Ziyi, 23. Weightlifting since the age of 15. After a knee injury, he ended his professional career but remained in the sport as a coach and educator.
- Zhang Lipeng, 34. He has been involved in mixed martial arts and MMA since the age of 14. He has participated in UFC fights and won international tournaments.
- Tang Mengqin, 24 years old.Studying in Physical Education and Training.
USA
- Austin Dotson, 32. Was involved in taekwondo and American soccer. Now a blogger, personal and online coach.
- Janisha Adams-Ginyard, 40. Involved in track and field, was a breakout player for the U.S. national bobsled team, did taekwondo, and was a professional wrestler. She is currently an actress, stuntwoman, and starred in the Marvel universe movie Black Panther.
- Hunter Caywood, 30 years old. American soccer player. Lives in Russia for eight years.
- Rachel Lloyd, 27. Weightlifting, cycling and rock climbing. Graduated from MGIMO.
Iran
- Vahid Jeddi, 25. Engaged in judo, has been a member of the Iranian national team for nine years. Two-time world champion and Asian judo champion.
- Sethareh Zarghyar, 23. Has been involved in cycling for 13 years. World champion in cycling.
- Shiva-Sadat Hoseini, 27. Has been involved in gymnastics since the age of six, later started playing basketball, roller sports, weightlifting, and contact karate.
- Mohammadhossein Babayan, judo wrestler. Champion of Iran in judo. Member of the national team, practiced gymnastics, taekwondo, kickboxing.
