In general, to grow your own avocado is not difficult at all – you need to follow some rules.

The seed for growing is suitable only from a ripe and healthy fruit. Avocado variety you can choose both green and hassock. Depending on what you like. Check the avocado for any damage or dents – it should look healthy on the outside.

Remove the pit, take three toothpicks and pierce the pit with them along the “equator” at equal distances on three sides. Do not damage the core.

After 3-4 weeks, you will see the first sprouts. When they are about 3 cm high, the avocado should be transplanted into the ground. Take a pot, fill it with soil and place it on a windowsill or any place with good light. Plant the avocado in the ground by making a hole and water gently.

Keep an eye on the avocado on a regular basis. Do not let the soil dry out, keep the temperature at least +20°C and feed with fertilizer.
