You need more protein

This recommendation can often be heard from trainers in fitness centers. But this seemingly useful advice needs additional clarification. The fact is that for weight loss, for which many people come to the gym, it is necessary to keep a certain amount of calories. The body should experience a small deficit in them. But this does not happen when the diet begins to add protein in unlimited quantities. After all, adding something to the equation of your diet, it is necessary to remove something from it. Otherwise, you won’t be able to lose weight.

Pump your abs for a flat stomach

This myth has been debunked more than once, and yet again and again people continue to pump the abs. In fact, working out the abdominal muscles without a proper diet will, on the contrary, lead to an increase in abdominal volume. This is because the subcutaneous fat does not go away due to exercise. But the muscles can grow. Therefore, abs exercises are aimed, rather, at the opposite result to a flat belly.

Exercise until the seventh sweat

This advice also does not have a strong enough basis. With the same stress on the body, two different people will sweat in completely different ways. In addition to the individual characteristics of the person training, sweating is also affected by the environment in which the person is exercising. Chasing a wet t-shirt can even be detrimental to health. Excessive stress is bad for the body. Leads to its weakening and even to injuries. Therefore, it is not worth it to focus your training on sweat.
