Recipe for medical antiseptic with your own hands

We prepare a sanitizer with our own hands according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization. To do this, it is necessary to purchase:

  • ethyl alcohol solution;
  • glycerin;
  • hydrogen peroxide.

We will also need:

  • syringe;
  • funnel;
  • a spray gun or any container with a dispenser;
  • boiling water.

Pour 5 ml of glycerin into a clean, dry container using a syringe without a needle. Then with a syringe add 15 ml of hydrogen peroxide. Through a funnel pour 300 ml of alcohol and 40 ml of boiled or distilled water. If you use an alcohol solution with an alcohol content of 70-80%, it is necessary to take 340 ml. In this case you will not need to add water. Screw the container with a nozzle with a dispenser or atomizer, shake thoroughly and leave it for half an hour so that all the components of the antibacterial gel are properly mixed.

Health expert and science journalist Boris Tsatsulin shared in his Instagram another recipe for antiseptic, which can be made at home. We will need:

  • mixing utensils, preferably glass;
  • a measuring cup or a spoon;
  • isopropyl alcohol not less than 60%;
  • aloe vera gel;
  • quality essential oils of your choice to make it smell good.

We mix the alcohol and aloe vera in a ratio of about 2/1. If 6 spoons of alcohol, then 3 spoons of aloe vera. Possible sediment does not affect the properties. Add a little oil, mix again, pour into a jar with a dispenser – voila! Do not wash off the antiseptic. Do not forget about the hygiene of the area under the nails. Periodically treat your hands with cream to avoid dryness – alcohol can dry the skin.
