Quiksilver New Star Camp Anniversary Festival

Afisha Picnic

When: August 3

Where: Museum-Reserve Kolomenskoye, Moscow

On August 3, another picnic from Afisha will take place in Kolomenskoye. An event that is expected not only by the regular participants of the music festival, but also by fans of the British rock band The Cure. They will be the headliners of the 2019 picnic. More than 80 venues are expected for sports and entertainment lovers. Last year’s festival was attended by 65,000 people, this coming year the scale is no less.

Crazy swim on the edge of the earth

When: August 17-18

Where: Teriberka village, Murmansk region.

X-WATERS ARCTIC 2019 will take place in Teriberka settlement on August 17-18, 2019. Participants will conquer the Arctic Ocean, have an opportunity to get acquainted with the beauty of the North and test their strength.

Swim two distances: 1 km and 1 Arctic mile. The organizers suggest choosing one of them. And if you are not ready for the swim yet, but you want to be at the event, you can register as a volunteer and get an X-WATERS T-shirt.

AFP Snow Edition – see off winter

When: March 22-24

Where: Rosa Khutor Resort, Sochi

Price: the cost of tickets (excluding accommodation) from 2500 to 450 000 rubles.

The team of organizers of the international music festival of contemporary music and technology Alfa Future People announced the creation of a new project. Festival AFP Snow Edition will be held at the ski resort Rosa Khutor and, despite the significant difference in format, will be a winter version of the already favorite event.

The new festival is designed to brighten up the long wait for summer and remind everyone how music in the open air energizes. The event will be held in apres-ski* format on the slopes of the mountains both during skiing and in the evenings. The main elements remain the same as at the summer AFP: electronic music, sports and entertainment program.

Triathlon in Kaliningrad

When: August 15-17

Where: Kaliningrad

In 2019 the triathlon will be held in Kaliningrad for the first time. It is definitely not to be missed! IRONSTAR 113 KALININGRAD 2019 will be held on the “half-iron” distance: 1.93 km swimming, 90 km cycling, 21.1 km running. You can participate individually or in a team. Also, the STARKIDS children’s race will be held as part of the event.

Marathon in the center of the capital

When: September 22

Where: Moscow

Traditionally, at the end of September Moscow will host the most mass race in Russia – Moscow Marathon. Distances: 42.2 km and 10 km. The marathon route runs along the embankments of the Moskva River, along the Garden and Boulevard Rings, across the Krymsky Bridge, along Tverskaya Street and Teatralny Proyezd, under the walls of the Kremlin. The race is open to men and women from 18 to 80+ years old. The children’s race is of an entertaining nature. All participants will receive commemorative medals.
