Quick and tasty: how to clean up after a workout

Often we are used to thinking that after sports activities, a well-deserved rest at home is sure to follow. However, this is not always the case. Often immediately after intensive training, we have to keep up the pace and rush on business: to make it to work or a meeting, a walk with friends or a date. And if you are a woman of the fair sex, you probably need to clean up after a workout with makeup and hairstyle.

Two of our heroines – Lena Lobanova és Julia Rempe – devote a lot of time and energy to sports. For one of them it is a way to keep in shape, for the other – work. And although they have different reasons to make exhausting workouts a part of their lives, their desire to look stunning after them is the same. We’ve created some cute looks for the girls, emphasizing on their hair. And most importantly, you can create such images with your own hands, without leaving the walls of the fitness club and having everything you need.

Since Lena is accustomed to constantly keep herself in shape, the morning of our heroine rarely passes without going to the gym. But the day does not end there: right after sports she is waiting for work and personal affairs. That is why it is important for a girl to always look neat and beautiful, even after a couple of hours of intense exercise.

Elena Lobanova: I usually go to the gym in the morning, and afterwards I go straight to business. That is, I tidy myself directly in the locker room. Favor in my gym has all the conditions for this: hair dryers, a lot of mirrors, etc. Almost always have to do something with my hair to appear at work or at a meeting in a decent form.

Indeed, locker rooms in modern gyms are equipped with everything necessary so that after sports a girl could comfortably pay attention to makeup and hair, and then hurry to work or go for a walk.

We have chosen two hairstyles for Lena, which she can do by herself after going to the gym. The first one is more suitable for walks and meetings, the second – for work, so that the loose hair doesn’t get in the way.

Neat, loose hair with a ponytail on top

Timing: 20 minutes.
We’ll need a flat iron, hairspray, elastic bands, threads.

Quickly twist the hair on the iron, then fix it with hairspray or spray. Wait a couple of minutes and shake the hair with your hands to achieve a natural effect.

Now separate the bangs and a few front strands from the rest of the hair. Divide the remaining hair in half and make a ponytail out of the upper part. Fleece the bangs and fix as close to the ponytail as possible. Take a small strand and beautifully wrap it around the rubber band that holds the ponytail.

Easy braiding

Timing: 10-15 minutes
We will need: varnish, threads, bobby pins.

On clean and dry hair we braid braids. Moreover, you can braid absolutely any braids that you know how. After that, fluff them up and twist them as you wish. You can twist in a bundle, in a basket – look at the form, which you like better.

Lifehack: braidsare better to plait sideways, because if a girl decides to plait them from behind, it will be difficult to see the result from the back. Also, if your hair is not clean enough, dry shampoo can be useful.

Most of the time Yulia devotes to sports: this is required and the work of a coach in the “Section”, and an excellent figure, which our heroine possesses. However, no one can cancel entertainment and recreation in her free time! It is at such moments that Yulia, like any girl, wants to be at her best and look great.

Julia Rempe, coach of the studio format sports club “Section”: Often after a training day I find myself at various events, going for walks with friends or just having dinner in a good place. And it is at these moments that I realize the importance of knowing how to do my hair and makeup properly after sports, because a girl should always look 200%. And the fact that she has just had a workout should only speak of a pleasant pain in the muscles and burning eyes.

For Julie we have selected three creative and simple hairstyles that she can do after the training day right in her sports club. With these hairstyles she will feel confident both at events and on a regular walk.

Quick curling iron

Timing: 15 minutes
We’ll need a flat iron, hairspray or spray.

Step by step, put the hair on the iron and wait for the strands to cool down. Shake them with your hands for a more natural effect. After that, you need to fix the hairstyle with a light varnish or spray, so that the curls do not disintegrate – and everything is ready!

Gently gathered hair

Timing: 5 minutes
We’ll need: hair bands, threads.

Twist your hair into two bundles on both sides and tie them together at the back, either in a ponytail or in a slightly disheveled bun – whichever you prefer. Quick and tasteful!

Lifehack: for easy and neat fixing, we use a clip-on hair clip.

Fashion Ponytail

Timing: 10 minutes
We’ll need: hairspray, rubber bands, and hair twist ties.

Separate the bangs from the rest of the hair and frizz it, then fix it with screws and gather it into a small bun. The remaining hair is gathered into a tight ponytail.

Lifehack: to keep the hair in the ponytail stronger, you can use several silicone rubber bands at once, so that none of them broke. Safe and neat!
