A difficult life situation prompted a young guy from England to start fighting with excess weight. After 15 months, he published before-and-after pictures on Instagram, which encouraged many users. What motivated Sebastian David to lose weight?

When Sebastian’s father was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in the summer of 2013, he pushed his own health to the back burner. David says that for nine months he didn’t cook his own meals, instead buying convenience food or going to fast food restaurants.

My weight was always fine when I used to play a lot of soccer, but when my father became terminally ill, I gained a lot. After he passed away, I decided it was time to get myself back in shape.

Sports were out of the question, as the guy was constantly taking care of his father. After the loss of a loved one, there were changes in Sebastian’s consciousness, and he decided to resume training and start eating right.

What to eat and how to train to look like this?

Sebastian’s main rule: do not limit yourself in food, but still train regularly. David promised himself and his mom that he would visit the gym every day. Moreover, he sought the help of a specialist who developed a special diet for him. His breakfast consisted of hercules, boiled eggs and berries. David ate chicken with yams and broccoli for lunch, and salmon and white potatoes for dinner. The man does not limit himself in the amount of food, but he eats only healthy food.

Instead of snacks and candy, he buys rice cakes with almond butter and fruit, protein shakes and pudding made of cottage cheese and nuts. Thanks to proper diet and exercises, Sebastian lost 25 kilograms in seven months.

The model also monitors his state of mind. He often travels outside of England to conduct breathing practices by the ocean, meditate in the rainforests of Bali or jump off the snow slope on a snowboard in Austria.

How did Sebastian become a model?

After a few more months, the guy gained enough muscle mass to shock the public with photos on social networks.

After a big weight loss, David was offered several modeling contracts, which he refused at first. And gym-goers constantly motivate him to participate in bodybuilding competitions.

I have to admit, it’s strange when I’m asked to model, because I’m looking at pictures of myself from two years ago. But I’m not complaining. It’s nice to get a little attention every now and then.

Sebastian came seventh in a nationwide competition and is considered one of Britain’s most eligible bachelors.
