Warner Bros. film company has shared the first official trailer for the biographical film King Richard. The feature film about the Williams family is hitting the big screens this fall. The main role in the sports drama directed by Reynaldo Marcus Green played by Will Smith. It is the father of the family, Richard, will be the starting point and the most important image of the picture.

Venus and Serena themselves acted as executive producers of the movie and participated in the production of the film. During an interview on a talk show, Venus commented on the realism of the movie:

It’s really about my dad and how he literally changed the game, how it all started. He’s a revolutionary kind of man. I love him to death.

Will Smith was confirmed to play the role of the girls’ father, but even at the casting stage the actor managed to get caught up in a scandal.
