Where to eat delicious hot dogs in Moscow?

The hot dog is one of the most popular types of fast food. In the United States, in 1994, they even created the “National Hot Dog Council” to monitor the standards and recipes of this dish. So much did the Americans love this masterpiece of culinary thought. In Russia, however, things are a little simpler and there are no rules. Limitations – only the imagination of the cook.

Where did the “hot dog” come from?

The term “dog” began to be used in the United States as a synonym for the word “sausage”. All because of accusations in the direction of manufacturers: allegedly for the production of sausages they took dog meat. Newspaper headlines in the 1880s constantly told about new high-profile exposures of sellers and producers of sausages and sausage. In early 20th century Germany, though, eating dog and horse meat was commonplace.

There are many different versions, but according to one of them the word “hot dog” was used in his work by cartoonist Ted Dorgan, who drew in a cartoon how snacks were sold during a baseball game.

And in 1904, Thomas Edison made a short film called Dog Factory, in which he mocked a situation involving dogs and sausages.
