Unusual berries, vegetables and healthy salt.

Everything that comes to us from the shelves of stores with the prefix “super”, just has to have some magical properties in its basis. Superfoods are quite controversial in their effectiveness: you should not attribute healing properties to them and expect instant weight loss from a handful of Goji berries. It is important to realize that all those useful vitamins and amino acids, which are in the composition of superfoods, have an accumulative effect in our body. Let’s try to understand what should have long ago taken its rightful place on the shelf of your refrigerator and why.

What is a superfood? Products in which the concentration of useful substances exceeds all previously known indicators. They are something between food and medicine; by description and definition, they are more like biological supplements, but they are still included in a separate category.

Açai berries

Dr. Alexander Schoss, a botanist and health food expert, has devoted a lot of time to the study of acai berries. The results of his laboratory research have exceeded all expectations. It turned out that no other edible fruit on Earth contains as many antioxidants and other biologically active substances as the acai berry. Antioxidants are not all: it is now known that the açaí berry contains more protein than a chicken egg.

Kale

The young leaves are used for food. The most useful dish will be a salad of fresh young leaves. Kale leaves combine well with onions, tomatoes, dill, parsley.

Guarana

Guarana has many important properties. From this plant, which grows in the Amazon basin, extracts are obtained that can be used as supplements. In fact, guarana has an energizing effect, it can stimulate the central nervous system and fight feelings of fatigue.

Himalayan salt

More often than not, the salt we see on the shelves of stores can not boast of beneficial properties. This is not the case with pink salt. It is also called Himalayan salt. The presence of various microelements in this salt allows us to say that it is the purest, because it was not found any mud impurities, which are so characteristic of table salt.

Include superfoods in your diet and get vitamins, amino acids and macronutrients from natural sources!
