This is a great full-body workout. It involves the abs, arms, as well as legs and glutes. The lunges below not only rock your legs and butt, but also improve hip mobility.

Technique

  • Sit on the mat. Put your hands behind your back, they serve as a fulcrum. Legs off the floor and slightly bend at the knees.
  • Straighten the legs in front of you, the body is slightly deflected back.
  • Return to the starting position.

Do four approaches of 15 repetitions.

Rotations of the body with weights

Technique

  • Sit on the mat. Bend your legs at the knees and pull them off the floor. In the hands take any weight: Valya holds a “pancake” from a barbell, but you can take a dumbbell with a suitable weight or a stuffed ball.
  • Twist first to the left, transferring the weight to the left side.
  • Then immediately turn the body to the right, transferring the weight to the right side.

Do four approaches of 15 repetitions.

Reverse push-ups

Technique

  • Stand with your back to the support: it can be a chair, a pedestal or a bench. Lean on it with both hands. Extend your legs in front of you.
  • Bend the arms at the elbows to an angle of 90 degrees.
  • Return to the starting position.
  • If it is difficult to push up with straight legs, you can bend them slightly at the knees and put them close to yourself.

Do four approaches of 15 repetitions.

Stepping

Technique

  • Stand straight in front of the support: a chair, a pedestal or a bench. Take a weight of comfortable weight in your hands.
  • Step onto the support with your right foot, put your left foot under it and stretch to your full height.
  • Step off the support also on the right foot.
  • Repeat all over again.

Do four approaches of 15 repetitions for each leg.

Lunges

Technique

  • Stand in front of the support, take in your hands a weight that is comfortable for you. Put the right foot on the support, the left one remains on the floor.
  • Lunge on the right leg, then immediately turn sideways and squat on the right leg.
  • Repeat all over again.

Do four approaches of 15 repetitions for each leg.
