It’s no secret that squash is becoming more and more popular every year. In Russia it was developed in the early 1990s thanks to scientist Vasily Petrovich Borisov, who got acquainted with the sport during his business trips to the USA and England. In 1992 our athletes made their debut on the international arena.

This coming weekend anyone can also take part in the competition. On October 20-21 the Moscow Open Championship, a landmark event in the world of Russian squash, will be held at the Moscow Club.

Traditionally, the finalists of tournaments of this level are experienced athletes, multiple winners of Russian competitions, holders of national championship titles. However, their opponents are no less strong players, so the fight in the final matches is always very tense and emotional. We have told you about this sport many times and on the eve of the tournament we decided to test your knowledge about squash.
